"Had to, had to." he wiped himself down and stepped back with a spin on his heels.

"Yeahhh!" she hyped. "We should get a video."

A few minutes of their time was dedicated to getting a video of them together, and even a few pictures before Sanchez urged they get a move on. He opened the car door for the single orange rose he laid on the seat then turned around, giving it to her.

"Aw." she took it with a smile. "It's orange. My fav."

"There are far more upstairs. I expected you to go up there, but you didn't." he stepped aside for her to slip in the passenger seat.

"Oops, sorry." she got comfortable in the seat.

He shook his head, "You can get 'em when we come back. Put your seatbelt on."

The drive to where they were going was somewhat lengthy due to a crash creating a traffic jam. But soon enough they pulled into a marina and Asha sat up in her seat, looking between him and the place full of docked boats and yachts. He found himself a park then let her out. She still hadn't said anything as she let him lead her off to where they needed to be by hand.

"Good evening," a man in uniform greeted them at the dock with a tray holding two glasses of the requested wine.

"Hi," Asha responded back, taking one of the glasses from the tray along with Sanchez.

"Thank you." Sanchez nodded at the man before he carefully helped Asha cross from the dock to the boat. He was right behind her where another employee took them to where they needed to be seated.

"This is so beautiful," Asha took in the trail of rose petals leading to the sitting area.

The petals and lit candles were already romantic, but the sky being lit with stars and the smidges of pink and purple from the just fallen sun only added further romance. She could literally cry from how stunning it was.

Sanchez had her sit down across from him though there was enough room for them to be side by side on the u-shape seating. He wanted to be able to look directly at her.

After the servers introduced themselves, informed them of the night's menu, and gave them an ETA for the appetizer, the boat was sailing off into the ocean. Sanchez sat watching Asha admired the sun's reflection disappear from the sky leaving it dark with the moon's soft glow on the water. Like she could feel his eyes on her, she glanced out the side of her eye and smiled harder at his stare.

"I did want you across from me, but now I think I want you over here." he admitted.

She fully faced him, "Nope it's a first date, remember? I think I'd be more comfortable over here than over there, sir. You might get the wrong idea."

"That's cool." he placed his feet on the outside of hers and closed in enough to have the foot of her crossed leg rested against his knee.

"Gotta touch me somehow, huh?" she smirked.

"Always. You got something for me to hear? You told me next time you saw me you'd have something ready." he watched her take a sip of the red wine.

"I do but you can't get a good listen out here. I'll send them to you instead." she fetched her phone to do it before she forgot.

"They got speakers. Hol' up," he stood from his seat and headed for the back where he'd been shown the room for music.

He felt his phone vibrate on his way to the back, and took his phone out as he entered the room. Two men sat at the control panel. He took the aux from the man already extending it and began to play one of the two beats. From where he stood he could see Asha leaned back in the seat, moving her head with closed eyes. On the other side he and the two employees slowly bobbed their heads; Sanchez enjoying the strings in the background. It felt like it could a breakup song or love song, but there had to be a story to it. All of the instrumentals he'd heard by her held that storytelling element. If someone didn't have the right technique of laying out events, the beats wouldn't be done any justice.
