THE INDEFINABLE CONNECTION

Part 10: An Unexpected Meet

Her eyes that are made of oceans,
And when she looks at you,
You'll feel the waves,
In your heart

She was standing right in front of me , looking absolutely incredible in casuals, with pretty much the same expressions as me, with her wide eyes, and surprise smile. She always remind me of someone, who was closest to my heart.

Then, she decided to broke the silence,
" Karishma Singh, aap yha?"

" Maddam Sir, aa...aap.. yha, ham to yhi pr rhte hai, aapke agle wle Ghar me, pr aap yha...."

" Karishma Singh, yehi Ghar hmne kharida hai...jiski hm baat kar rhe the, hme nhi pta tha aap hmari padosi nikalengi.....aaye na ...andar Chalke baat krte hai...." She said politely gesturing me to enter her house.

I entered inside and saw some boxes were packed still, but most of them were unpacked, and things were organised preety nice. I was quite surprised, that she managed to do all this in such short time. Then I suddenly remembered about the cake I brought for her. She came behind me after shutting the door. Before she can ask me to sit, I said quickly, handling her the cake

" Maddam Sir, Ye aapke liye..."

" Iski kya jarurat thi Karishma Singh..."
She said with a smile.

" Ji jrurat kaise nhi thi...aap padosi hai hmari, isme kaunsi badi baat hai...Amma ne khaas aapke liye Chocolate cake bnakar bheja hai....Unhe and hme bahot acha lgega, agr aap hmara yeh welcome gift swikaar krengi..." I insisted her and she agreed.

She asked me to take a sit on the couch placed in the living room.
" Itne ache gift ke liye aapka bahut bahut shukriya....aur Chocolate cake to hmara favourite hai..." She said with a genuine smile, and I felt very glad that she liked it.

"Acha hua Karishma, aap hme mil gyi...nhi to hm toh yhi sochte rhte ki hmare padosiyon se Jaan pehchan kaise krenge....Waise aap Chai peena pasand krengi, is Chocolate cake ke saath me..."
She asked me. I was quite happy after listening her taking only my first name, from the inside.

" Maddam Sir, wo kya hai ki ham chai nhi Peete....kafi pehle aakhiri Chai pi thi bachpan me, joki hmari favourite thi...jiske alawa ham koi aur ki chai nhi Peete the...pr uske baad na hme waisa koi chai bnana wla insaan mila, na hmne peene ki koshish ki..." I denied politely.

" Karishma, Ham aapko force to nhi krenge...par abhi kehte hai ki ham chai aur maggi , kafi achi bana lete hai.....to hm bas aapse kehenge, ki aap ek baar try kijiye hamare haath ko chai...., Aur jaise din aaj hme surprises de rha hai...kya pta aapko apka bachpan wla swaad waapas mil jaye..." She said with hope, and I was feeling quite insufficient in denying her such a descent request, so I agreed with an OK.

She got up and moved towards the kitchen way, but turned back to me and said," Karishma, abhi ham Thane me nhi hai, aap hmari junior nhi hai....., Isliye Aap hme hmare naam se bula skti hai....Aur aab to hm padosi bhi hai.....jaise hmne abhi aapko Karishma bulaya, aap bhi hme Haseena bula skti hai...."

I was surprised by her words, and hesitating looking at her. But who can save themselves, from her intriguing eyes, so I just nodded and she went miming," Good " to me. I was sitting in her living room, taking an overview of her house. It was pretty much same like mine, which was a two bedroom house , with an kitchen attached with living room like mine, and also having a small garden area in front, in which a swing was placed.

I was observing, when heard her footsteps coming closer. She came with a tray in her hands, consisting of two tea cups and two big pieces of cake. She kept it in front of me, and gestured me to have it, sitting beside me.

I was nervous, cause I was having it after a very long time, last time when I was having it, it was the best moment , that have only became a memory which I don't want to remember. I once glanced her, keeping the cup between my lips, and hesitatingly took my first sip......
