When I Met You

Chapter 13

"Are you ready?" She hit him. She needed to know his answer to this question. Because she's not the only one married with kids here.

"Yep." He answered with confidence. "You sure?" She second guessed him. "Damn sure. I'm done with that woman, and I'm ready to move on." He stated.

She didn't question him anymore figuring that he was telling the truth.

"You gotta get up Pen. It'll be time for us to go in about two or three hours from now." He reminded her.

"Yeah yeah I know. I'm not ready to get up yet. Wanna cuddle?" Penda offered.

He laughed at her. This woman is something else. She don't want a relationship but yet she wants to cuddle. How that work?

"You something else you know that?" "How?" "Because, you don't want a relationship but yet you wanna cuddle." He poked.

"I ain't say I didn't want a relationship. I'm just saying our relationship is pending." She told him. "Pending?" "Mhm."

"And when will it be processed?" He asked her.

"Like I said before, whenever both of us gets divorced and it also depends on how you act." She told him.

"Okay, I'll make sure to be good. But I'm still not cuddling with you though. Not because the relationship is still pending but because I learned that you take forever to get ready. So you might wanna give yourself a head start." He warned.

"Ouu, the shade." She said slightly offended. "Not shade baby, just honesty." He said walking into the bathroom feeling like he has to pee.

After peeing and washing his hands, he stepped back out to the bedroom to find Penda half way sleep.

"Pen-pen come on now. You need to get up and give yourself a head start." He continuously warned her.

"I know I know I'm just sleepy. And you making that breakfast makes me even sleepier." She explained.

He chuckled. "So it's my fault?" He asked her. "Part of it is." She told him as she found a little strength to get up, she stretched her body out before getting out the bed.

"Happy now?" She asked him.

"Mmm not quite. You need to get ready." She playfully rolled her eyes.

"You so extra." She told him. "Nah that would be you. It don't take me an hour and a half or two hours to get ready." He joked as he walked out the bedroom leaving her there by herself.

Donald's house....

Keisha is just now coming back in the house from putting her son on the school bus. Lauren has been up, she just didn't get out the bed. Donald is just now waking up to find Lauren on her phone.

He gave her a kiss on the neck.

"Good morning beautiful." He greeted. "Good morning." She said putting her phone down and turning to face him.

"Where's Keisha?" He wondered. "She went outside to put DJ on the bus. The bus is gone she should be inside now." Lauren told him.

"Hmm... you figure out what you're going to do yet?" Donald asked her. "What do you mean?"

"I mean with this story of your baby daddy and Penda DiCiprio." He made clear.

"I think I'm going to post on Facebook. I have a lot of friends on Facebook so... maybe I should go live? I don't know." Lauren contemplated.

"Orrr, you could just record yourself talking and then post it on Facebook. Everything doesn't have to be live." He suggested.

Keisha walked in.
