The Queens' Quarrel

Start from the beginning

She's seen me do those 'extreme rituals', heck, even practiced a few with me! She knows not all of them are bad, and the ones that are a bit intense are not geared towards children! I thought, as my surroundings seem to turns slight shades of red in my eyes. She's never acted like this before. I thought again, now slightly worried for her.
"Are... you feeling okay? You're acting off." I question as I take her hand. She looks at me blankly.

"I think so yeah?" My partner said simply.

I stop. "I... have to go." I murmur, quickly getting up from her bed, tears in my eyes.

"Didn't you want to catch up?" Ceris asks rather bluntly, a confused look on her face.

  "I did." I respond shortly.

"Then why leave?" She said taking my hand.

"Because." I gave another quick response as I go to reach for the crown, however, when I look, I don't see it there. I turn to Ceris to see her holding it curiously.

"W—What is this?" She asks, clearly trying to change the subject. I take a sharp inhale and try to take it from her.

"None of your business anymore." I say trying to pull it from her iron grip, but she doesn't let it go.

"Why! I'm just looking!" Ceris asks, pulling it back.

"It's mine Ceris! It's none of your business, and it won't be until you snap out of whatever happened to you!" I shout at her, tugging it back.

"But—" Before she could finish, Ceris pulls one last time on the bag roughly, causing it to rip open and cause my crown to fall out and crashes to the floor. The room falls silent, and I watch the blood drain from my partner's face as I stood there frozen.
I kneel down, my hands shaking as I pick up my crown to see that the horns had been broken off the base of the beautiful crown. My crown.

Run back to your ruined village, the Horde has no need for cowardice. A memory replays as the words of the late challenger spit poison in my brain. Tears build up in my eyes. I hold up of my broken crown, and hear a gasp from behind me. I turn to see Stella and Rain standing in the doorway, my little girl in Rain's arms. Rain glares daggers at Ceris, while his wife looks like she had been betrayed. But... my daughter, she looks shaken up... fearful.

My fist clenches. "You just... broke the Nether Queen's crown. My crown." I harshly whisper.

I hesitate before I swiftly grasp the torn packaging, and the pieces of my crown. I walk to Rain to take my daughter back, when I feel her hand touch mine.
"Abby I—"

I slap her hand away, "Don't touch me!" I shout as I choke on my tears.

The former Watcher draws her hand away, backs up away from me immediately, she's starting to hyperventilate. I pick up Olivia from Rain, and rush out. I look down at my little Olive to see her with that same blank stare on her face, a few tears rolling down her cheeks to which she paid no mind to.
I heard Rain yelling at my partner and watch as nurses rush to the room. I cover Olivia's ears gently. She's a toddler... she shouldn't see this... she shouldn't have to go through any of this.

Quickly, I rush to the small apartment the three of us had been staying, trying so desperately not to burst out into tears. I place Olivia on the couch and give her a few stuffed animals, as I rush around the apartment, throwing several pairs of clothes, undergarments, hygiene products, snacks, books, and Olivia's toys in a few bags. After I was done, the place looks like it had been ransacked. I race around the place for anything I'm missing, swiftly tearing things from shelves and frantically opening drawers and ripping out the contents.
I got to the bathroom, and I'm just looking. I don't know what for, I have everything I need, but I couldn't stop. My vision is blurry, and my chest hurts from how quick my breaths are. Slumping to the cold tile floor, I start sobbing.
