"As I should, Optimus. If you just give her a small amount of breathing space, you will find that you will have nothing to worry about." Ratchet smiled at him and placed his hand on Prime's shoulder. "I know Saphira asked you to go with her because she's been excited about getting a new wardrobe. And honestly, that is a good thing."
Optimus nodded. "Yes...yes it is." He glanced up to look at the hallway. "I wonder where she is."
"Don't bother her." Ratchet held his hand on Optimus's shoulder to keep him from looking for Saphira. "She's probably getting herself ready for the day. Give her that time. Being impatient isn't a quality you possess."
"I know...I was just thinking out loud." Optimus looked at the medic with a smile. "Thank you, Ratchet. I will...try to give her some space...and you are right. I am panicking. I don't want to lose her...and yet I chose the path of potentially pushing her away. I hope I have not already done that."
The medic shakes his head confidently. "I can assure you that you have not. Saphira's love for you remains strong. And I hope it stays that way. At the very least, you have been there for her when she's had these new nightmares."
It was true, Saphira had been having strange dreams ever since the incident. She would dream she was back on the decepticon ship. She was in a dark room, one with a large berth and items that were too small for bots and decepticons to use. In her dream is a round bed, draped in a lavender, transparent sheet with lights covering it, and that is where she would find herself laying. The bed was situated at the end of the berth, and she would see Megatron's face entering her vision. Only he shows no anger, only happiness and...love? Saphira finds herself responding to him each time and kissing those lips.
And she would wake up each time. She didn't dare tell Optimus the full details of the dream, only that she keeps seeing Megatron in her nightmares. It has made sleeping quite difficult for her. She often woke up several times a night, and as she opted to stay with Prime, he was almost always awake with her each time. She felt a horrid feeling each time, like she had gone and done something wrong towards Optimus when she hadn't.
"Saphira still has no told me of the content within those nightmares," Optimus said, taking Saphira from her thoughts as she listened to the two continue to speak. "All I know is they are about Megatron."
"I would say that is all you need to know, Optimus. Saphira was really shaken after we got off that ship. She was very brave, however." Ratchet smiled as Optimus nodded while listening to him. "She did not hesitate to get away when she saw the opportunity, and Megatron was too focused on returning to his own body to really notice."
Prime smiled as he knew she was brave, braver than what she gives herself credit for her. "I am glad she did not hesitate. Otherwise, we would be figuring out plans to try and rescue her from their clutches."
Ratchet nodded in agreement. "Indeed we would. She has a good head on her shoulders." He looked to the hallway thoughtfully and smiled. "I know that she is going to have a bit of fun today with the shopping."
"I hope so." Saphira decided she heard enough and walked into the lobby and Optimus was quick to spot her, and he smiled at her. "Saphira, I see you are ready to go. Have you made a plan on where you want to go?"
She shakes her head. "Not really...I think it might take a couple hours for me to work out what to buy. Plus, I will be looking for specific styles, and I hope I can find them." Optimus did not quite understand what she was meaning as she approached them. "Anyway, we should get going. I don't want to be waiting around for very long. Miko wants to see what I get when we come back."
Optimus hummed in amusement before he transformed and opened the door for her to climb inside. "The children won't be here for another hour. It is still very early."
