"That is because we were not scanning for them," Knockout responded with a shrug. "If we had stumbled upon it, we would already be studying it." He looked at Megatron with a smile. "Now that we know this, I suggest Saphira should ingest a small amount. It might help her recover."
"Absolutely not!" Megatron barked, startling everyone in the room. "You expect me to allow Saphira to ingest something that caused her a great deal of harm? I will not allow it. Saphira even told me the energon caused her to see possible visions of the future."
Saphira looked at him in surprise, she didn't expect him to reveal that and Knockout widened his optics in surprise. She looked at him and shrugged. "Well...he isn't wrong...I saw visions vividly when I touched the crystal...and it seems I am not plagued with dreams of being attacked or in a war...I don't like it."
"Hmm...I never got that..." Knockout rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Maybe another scan of your brain will reveal something I missed." He walked closer to Megatron and held his hand out. "May I?"
Megatron nodded and lifted Saphira from his shoulder to move her to Knockout's hand. "Very well. If the energon is creating these visions, there is a possibility they could be false and simply be due to the energy it has given off."
"That would be nice," Saphira said softly as she thought about them, shuddering a little. "I don't particularly want more visions where I am at the mercy of someone or something."
"Is that what these visions show?" Knockout asked her curiously.
She looked at Knockout shook her head. "Not all of them. One of them...I could swear I felt an extreme pain through my body, though I do not know. And I remember clearly I was in Ratchet's arms in one of the visions, and his arms were stained in human blood...I think it was my blood..." She shuddered at the thought and shakes her head again. "I hope none of these visions are true."
"Hmm...sounds like another projection of fear to me," Knockout said thoughtfully as he rubbed his chin and walked towards the door. "No matter, we will figure this out, Saphira." He glanced at Megatron politely. "Do not worry, master. I believe these visions will simply go away, and be nothing more than a silly dream."
"I am sure that is something that Saphira would want to believe. When you have finished the scan, let me know." Megatron walked out of the lab before Knockout and Breakdown did. "I will be requesting you take a cube for a spin."
"Again?" Breakdown groaned, which Megatron turned his head and glared at Breakdown, making him flinch. "Sorry, master, I would have thought you would want us to take time with Saphira so we can ensure that the white energon's effects can either be countered or that it isn't permanent." Breakdown knew he made a mistake when he asked the question, but his argument was sound enough.
"I do, but when you are finished, you will be given the task," Megatron responded calmly and walked away from them. "I trust that you will not forget to inform me of the information this time. Do not get distracted by some human movie."
"You can blame me for that one, Megatron," Saphira said with a smile as he walked down the hallway. "I am the one who introduced them to Fast and Furious."
Megatron huffed in amusement, though he did not say anything. Breakdown and Knockout glance at each other with a smirk before they walk to the med bay. Saphira did worry about the effects of the raw white energon remaining in her body, she really did not want to be seeing visions constantly now. It would really make going to sleep very hard. She did consider trying the liquid white energon though. If it could help her recover, it might be worth trying.
As they enter the med bay, Saphira was set on a familiar med berth while Knockout walked away to grab the right equipment. Breakdown leaned on the med berth, resting his elbow on it with his hand on his cheek and smirking at her. Saphira looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "So...tell us your secret."
