Chapter 73

She blinked in surprise at Breakdown. "Secret? What secret?"

Breakdown's grin widened and he laughed softly at her. "You should know. Megatron is in love. When he came to us asking about what it was like to feel something for someone, we had assumed it was another decepticon, and we had assumed it was you. But we didn't think it was possible."

"Then Megatron ran through the vortex, holding you in his hand protectively and the worry on his face..." Knockout looked back at Saphira with a grin. "I could tell that this was not how Megatron would normally behave. I know Breakdown and I have had instances where we were worried for each other, and I recognize that type of worry anywhere."

Saphira felt her cheeks heat up as they talk to her about it. "Umm...I really don't..."

"There is no need to hide it from us, Saphira," Breakdown teased with a light chuckle. "In fact, we think it is great that he has found someone. Megatron's always focused on war and conquest, he's never once stopped to think there might be other things that he wants. Until now." He leaned a little more on the berth as he thought about it. "You know, Knockout and I could help you get dressed up for a date at some point. Although...I know you just had a date with him on that island and this happened...but...we might be able to help."

Saphira stared at the cons in disbelief and looked at Knockout as he brought over a brain scanner and began to carefully stick suction cups to her head, all these were connected to the scanner that would scan her brain thoroughly without needing some kind of MRI. "But...why would you want to help me? Actually...why would you want to help any human?"

"We have come to realize you are a lot of fun to be around," Knockout responded happily as he stuck a few more lines to her head and turned away to begin the scan of her brain. "Sure...we had a rocky start. But we have had a fresh start now, as you had wanted. I do know I wish I knew you sooner, we could have been dancing away a lot sooner."

It was true, Saphira, Knockout and Breakdown have discovered they enjoyed dancing together. Shortly after Knockout cleared her to get out of bed, Saphira found out that the two cons actually enjoyed some of the music on Earth. And, while Saphira didn't like parties, she found herself enjoying herself dancing with these two. It was like they had become her brothers in a way.

Saphira giggled at Knockout. "I wonder how long it will take before Megatron discovers this."

"I hope you do not dare expose us, Saphira," Breakdown said playfully. He glanced at his sparkmate as Knockout turned the scanner on to begin the process while he scanned Saphira's body for anything off. "Megatron already dislikes that we enjoy your Earth movies. They're a lot of fun to watch, even if some of it is ridiculous."

"Tell me about it." Knockout looked at Breakdown with a smirk. "Watching those Fast and Furious movies sometimes annoyed me with how they drive. But none of them could ever drive as good as I can. I even have the better paint job and streamline body than the cars they have."

Saphira couldn't help but agree. "Yep, you sure do. And some of the stunts in the movies would make more sense if the cars were transformers, and not driven by humans."

"Definitely." Knockout finished his scan of her body and shrugged. "You don't seem as tired as you have been, so that is a good thing."

She nodded as she had not really been paying attention to herself, but now that Knockout mentioned it, he was right. "I agree with you. I feel like I've had proper sleep for a change."

"That is a good thing." Knockout looked at the scan of her brain, rubbing his chin thoughtfully as he read it. "Hmm..." He tilts his head and narrowed his optics slightly. "I definitely missed something when I scanned your brain last time." Breakdown walked over to have a look as Knockout typed to get a clearer picture. "Oh! Yes, the temporal lobe of your brain appears to be exhibiting strange patterns in it. This could be the reason for the visions. I'll do a quick scan of white energon energy."
