After a few seconds, I regained my hearing. I start to hear the splashing of water against concrete. I begin to feel the wind grazing my skin. This would have been a good description of a cabriolet joy ride along the bridge with the cityscape and sky to admire.

Deciding to protect this unlucky bastard, I adjusted our position, so that I would be the first one receiving the impact of the fall.

I tighten the hold on this poor man in my arms, " Brace yourself." with one final line we landed in the mouth of the sea serpent.

My eyes closed from the shock of the impact along with the cold water of the river. As I sucked in a breath, a warm and enormous darkness swallowed me up.
