Setting her leg back on the floor, she couldn't stop it from shaking. A habit Stiles would always tell her off about. The memory of Stiles had her looking back at Doctor Mary before she nibbled on her dry lips, trying to peel any skin, to make sure she could feel any type of pain.

"No, thank you," She managed to say.

"I'm sure we would all benefit if you open up a little," Doctor Mary insisted, her green eyes trained on the Anchor.

Amelie breathed through her nostrils shakily. "I have nothing to say."

"How about you start from the beginning?"

"The beginning?" Amelie asked confused, glancing to see each and every person staring at her expectantly.

"Your dad," She clarified and Amelie's blood went cold. How did she know about him? But, then she remembered— Sydney probably told them everything when she admitted her into the facility.

"Uhm, he died a few years ago," She shrugged, "In the hospital where he worked."

"And how did that make you feel?"

"Like any other child who lost their dad," She answered like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"And how did you cope with that?"

"I had my best friend, Isaac," She replied with a shrug, "He was— I'm sorry, why are you asking me all of this?"

"Well, your mother said stuff started going downhill when your father died," Doctor Mary explained, "For you and your sister."

Amelie pursed her lips, trying to keep all the rude comments at bay. "Well, my mom wouldn't know. She wasn't around for any of it. Now, if you'll excuse me—"

As soon as she stood up, one of the security guards, the same one who dragged her in here, walked up to her, gesturing for her to sit down.

"No," She spat. "I don't want to talk, and I definitely don't want to be here."

As she tried to make her way out, the guard grabbed her by the arms to stop her. "Let me go, you—"

The guard only grunted, pushing her out of the room that she almost skidded onto the floor if he weren't holding her. Pulling harshly against him, she managed to break free from his clutches. Her chest heaved as she turned around and threw her fist at his jaw, just like Argent taught her.

The man groaned at the impact before his face turned a beetroot shade of red. Before he could do anything else, she ran.

She didn't know where she was going— she just had to get out of here. The sound of alarms began to ring through the air, only sending her rush of adrenaline higher and higher. Her feet scrambled against one another as she passed through hallways, taking turns and turns and glancing behind her.

At the last turn, she collided into a large chest, throwing her onto the floor with a scream. Another security guard, who was just as large and beefy as the first one, grabbed her and pushed her in front of him, making her walk her way back to her room. "Stop—!"

The first security guard was waiting for her in front of her room. Only this time, he was holding something behind his back. She glared at him as she entered her room and he followed her, telling the other guard to close the door.

Despite the brave facade Amelie had shown, she was beyond terrified. She didn't know what he was capable of. Horrible things happened to those admitted into Eichen— worst of all, her mother knew that and sent her anyway.
