Entry #2: Reconciliation... Kinda

Start from the beginning

The walk was mostly silent at that point. Tim looked like he would collapse any second, and Jay had an arm free to catch him if need be. He was worried about him. He had vanished again, and when Jay finally found him he got attacked and teleported to a random place in Rosswood Park. Again. He felt awful. He glanced over at Tim, who had begun to part his lips slightly.

"How did you end up near me?..."

Jay bit his tongue for a moment, trying to formulate his words in a way that didn't sound weird.

"I was trying to find you. I hadn't heard from you in ages and when I came back to the park... I just had a feeling."

Tim huffed a laugh. Jay's "feelings" were only about 40% accurate, but when it came to someone else's well being, he tended to be right.

Before much longer, Tim's head began to spin again, the sudden dizziness causing him to crumble to the ground. Jay reacted almost immediately, hoisting Tim's arm over his shoulders and holding him up. Tim's breathing was uneven and harsh. Was he always this run down after those episodes as the masked man?

"Stay with me Tim... we're gonna get back to the parking lot soon, ok? Just hang on."

Tim... didn't understand. He didn't understand why Jay would do something as stupid as hunt for him in Rosswood knowing damn well what was in there. Why would he risk his neck trying to find him, especially after Tim had decked him in the jaw a few weeks ago. Jay could have easily just left him there, but he didn't, and the fact that there was still a bruise on his face made Tim's skin crawl because of it. Jay honestly meant well, and Tim knew that, but his means to an end needed work.

Tim found himself observing Jay a lot as they walked, with him being the only thing keeping him on his feet. Despite their current situation, Tim couldn't help the odd feeling he got from being so close to Jay. It felt like that night in the parking lot, Jay hovering over him out of anger, yet never directing it towards him. He had no energy to move away then, but there had been something else that kept him from moving. Something that kept Jay from moving. He still remembered the look of guilt and concern etched into Jay's features. Tim wasn't sure what prevented him from pushing him away. Maybe because Jay was the only one left and a part of him really hated being alone.

Tim wasn't sure how long he had been watching Jay, but by the time he had tried to look at something else, he was greeted by the Rosswood parking lot. He could see Jay's lips moving, but he couldn't actually hear him... that probably wasn't good. Tim watched as Jay brought him to his car and opened the door, helping him into the driver seat and taking the orange bottle out of his tan jacket and frantically reading the label. Tim almost grinned; he's totally unresponsive and yet Jay still wanted to make sure he didn't accidentally give him an overdose. He took out two of the pills and the half empty water bottle from his cup holder.

"Come on Tim, I need you to give me something here..."

Tim watched Jay's mouth move, but no sound was coming out. Tim hadn't realized he was having an episode right there, but instead of hearing everything he could hear nothing. The world was dead silent. The trees in the distance were blacked out to him, with Jay being the only thing he could see clearly. Static began to fill the silence just like it always did. He could feel himself losing his grip and god he hated this feeling please make it stop. Tim's panic didn't even have a chance to bubble up, though. Jay had taken it upon himself to just place the pills in Tim's mouth, hoping he would swallow them on instinct. He didn't, and Jay was running out of ideas. In a last ditch effort to jolt Tim back into reality (and get him to swallow the pills), he tipped the bottle up into his own mouth and took as much as he could hold.
