Kai x reader

I smiled at him and mused "Thanks. Never knew you are this good with words. You should use them more often."

"I prefer staying quiet more but I believe I can give a thought to what you just said in case of some people atleast." He replied.
Then, we talked for some more time.

After reaching home, I found myself debating over something. Should I message him? Or not?

What if he thinks that I am trying to get close to him?

Urghhhh!!! I will drive myself crazy like this!!

I dropped a 'Hi' to him and threw my phone to the other side of the bed. I don't think he will reply...

My eyes darted towards the phone as it's screen lit up with a message notification from Kai!!!

Blushing beet red, I picked up the phone and tried starting a conversation and surprisingly, he was replying to my messages!!

I was feeling really very happy!!

This continued for some days and we started spending time with each other in our free times.

One day, while chatting, he asked me what I was doing and I just casually complained about the boring vacations as I couldn't go anywhere at all.

His next message surprised me like anything!!

'Then, would you like to go somewhere?'

Blushing like an idiot, I replied him with a 'sure'

Where would you like to go then?

Umm.. I don't know about much places so.. how about having icecream together??

Hnn.
Then I'll be outside your house in 10 minutes.

Okay!

After getting ready, I rushed outside of my home only to find him waiting there while standing against the wall.

We started walking silently. It was getting a bit awkward to be honest. I was desperately searching for something to start a conversation when he asked me "So... which flavour do you like?"

I was so thankful to him for starting a conversation. It seemed like even he was trying to start the conversation. So cuteee!! Hehehe

With me replying, we finally got a route to keep our conversation going on.

While talking, we soon reached the ice cream parlour and he asked me to get the ice cream I want and told me that it's on him.

I felt like passing out! KAI is treating me with ice cream!!!!

I bought two and handed him one as he came outside after paying.

"So, what now?" He asked.

"Let's go to the beach and sit there!" I mused excitedly.

"Hnn sure." He said with a slight smile and it was something to live for..

"You look soooo cuteee when you smile!! Hehe you should do that often!" I told him playfully.

"Stop it already or I'll have to consider for 100 times before smiling next time." He complained rolling his eyes and goddd it was sooooo cutteeee!!

"Hehehe okay. I'll stop.." I said trying my best to control my laugh when I added "..maybe!" With a wink.

I started running towards the beach as he came following me. I was running faster than I usually do but he caught me without much sweat.

"Now, what were you saying?" He queried.
