Chapter V

"Fascinating, isn't it?" JB wiggled his eyebrow

"It's not." Wendy said.

"You're acting really weird now JB." Jinyoung guy asked.

"Can't you see? Seulgi's his type." the Jackson guy said that made me look at him. "You are." He said straight to me.

"Why don't we all go to the cafeteria already, before JB confess here." Wendy said and held my wrist. She then dragged me out of the room. The three just followed us.

"Am I really--?"

"You are." She said and I laugh.

"Okay." I said still laughing.

When we reach the cafeteria, we directly went to get food. We were already sitting on the table. The guys were bantering and teasing with Wendy. I just kept silent since I'm still not that close to them yet. When I notice my drink was empty already I decided to go buy a bottle of water. They all look at me as I stood up.

"I'll just get myself water." I said.

"I can--" I cut JB off.

"It's fine, I can do it." I said and walk my way to buy.

After I bought one I was about to head to our table already when I heard a familiar voice behind me.

"Hi! Do you still have a bottle of water?" I turn to look at the owner of the voice and I was right, it is her.

"I'm sorry but we ran out of water at the moment. If you can wait, my coworker is on his way to get some in the stock room." Said the lady across the counter. I saw her check her watch. Looks like she's in a hurry.

"I can wait." She said. I just watch her, she's tapping her fingers on the counter. She looks so impatient already. I shake my head and smiled as I walk to her.

"Here." I hand her the water bottle I just bought. She turn to my direction. "I'll just wait for the new batch, just take mine." I said. She looked shocked to see me.

"I-I can't--"

"The time is ticking." I said, still offering her the bottle. She look at her watch again before she took the water in my hand. She was about to reach in her pocket but I stop her.

"No need." I said, holding her wrist. She look at my hand then look up to my face. She then turn red. At that moment a memory replayed in my head, that made me remove my hold on her. "Oh my God!" I said. She shake her head.

"Thank you, Seul. I need to go." she said and walk away. Shit! Why did I do that?

Not a minute later I heard people at my back. When I turn around, I was shock to see Wendy and the others already standing there.

"You okay?" Wendy said in a worry. I look at her in confusion.

"We saw you talking to Miss P, that made us worry." Jinyoung said.

"Miss P?" I asked. Are they talking about Joohyun?

"The president of the student council. The one you talked to earlier." JB said.

"Oh! Why would you be worried of me. It's not like she's a bad person." I said to them.

"Excuse me. You're the one who gave water to Miss Irene right?" The person across the counter suddenly speak up. Irene? "We already have stock, do you still want to buy one?" She asked.

"Yes." I said and hand her the payment for the water.

As we're walking our way back to our table JB said something.

"Miss Pres is not the type of person who would interact nicely to people." He said.

"She's also not the type who would accept help from strangers, or even her friends." Jinyoung added

"She doesn't even smile." Wendy said as she sit. We all did the same. Huh? How's that even possible?

"Are you guys joking?" I asked them and laugh.

"We're not." Wendy said, seriously, that made me stop laughing.

"Really?" I asked in disbelief. She got some reputation here.

"Jackson, I remember you courted her. You still haven't told us what happened."Jinyoung asked. What?!

"I heard she is rude to her suitors." JB said. Isn't she gay?

"She's not." Jackson suddenly spoke up.

"Oooh! She's protecting her. Why did you even court her, Jackson?" JB asked. I just waited for Jackson's answer. I'm curious too. If she have this kind of reputation here, wouldn't others be scared already?

"I don't know. I just feel like doing it." He said. So, it's not that he had a crush on her. "Plus we can't deny the fact that she's pretty. She also have this tough personality that I like." He does, have a crush on her. "It's not true that she's rude to her suitors. She actually rejected me, kindly. Maybe those people who got dumped by her scattered those rumor to make it look like they weren't rejected by her." Jackson calmly explained. At some point I find him kind for defending Joohyun. When he look up, he caught me staring at him. I gave him a genuine smile.

"See. She doesn't seem like a bad person at all." I said and look at the others.

"I saw that." Wendy suddenly whispered.

"Saw what?"

"That smile you just gave Jackson." She whispered again. I look at her. Don't tell me...

"No!" I strongly denied, not realizing I just raised my voice. Everyone in the table looked at me.

God! I just appreciated what he said about Joohyun. I facepalmed my self. Whatever!
