Late in the 4am hour [Player x Reader]

Actually Into The Diner [11]

 "Oh, sorry, I'm just zoning out, is all." Dummy shakes it off. "I might still be a bit tired."

 "That's alright!" Player says, then shifting over to make you more visible to Dummy. "This is (Y/N)! (Y/N), Dummy."

 "Nice to meet you." You wave. 

 Dummy studies you as they wave back. "Nice to meet you too."

 You talked with Dummy for a little bit. They brought up some odd things, but didn't tap into it much. Like a different plane of existence and mainly visiting here only because it was one of the only other places they could visit at the time before this.

 Whatever "this" means.

  There was also the fact that every once in a while, Dummy glanced to the side. You tried looking out whenever he did, but you didn't see anything. Nothing really looked wrong. You didn't question it, you didn't have the chance to, only because Player said "We better get back to the date!" And leads you back over to the booth you two were at before. Dummy wishes you too a good night, and you began to eat. Well yea, mainly YOU, because by the time you were halfway done with your food, Player managed to figure out a way to tamely devour all of his food. 

 Within 10 minutes. 

 "How'd you--?" You sputter after taking a sip from your drink, and noticing the barren plate of chicken bones. 

 "Magic!" Player waves his hands in a jazzy way, as they sip more of their punch. "So, how's your Aunt and you?" 

 "Pretty good!" You reply, taking a bite out of [insert food you picked here]. The taste was delicious, and you are enjoying every bite so far. "This place is amazing." You say as you take another.

 "I did good, right?" Player tilts their head with a smile.  You nod happily, savoring the moment. 

 "...You got something on your face." Player says.

 "Wait-- huh??"

 After those shenanigans, and splitting the bill, Player took you outside to enjoy the scenery. As you step outside, the sky is a light blue/teal hue that makes the sky pop out beautifully. You walk forward to your left, admiring it.

 "Incredible..." You mutter. Player leans onto the side of the diner, just looking at the sky. The sky gleamed with a lovely misty trail, and even showed the stars. It was a perfect time to be out.

 "Nice, right?" Player just smirks confidently. It's like they knew what they were doing. They walked right next to you, staring up. "The chances of this happening are a little rare, but I'd rather take those chances then NOT let you see this."

 "I.. I don't really think I've even seen this before." You say. You possibly looked entranced, because Player only snickered at your reaction. You turn to him and his nonchalant tone.

 "How can you be so CALM about this???" You say. Player only kept the smile, turning towards you. 

 "Well, I've always seen these lights at night, maybe at a chance at 4am." They explain. "I didn't expect them to come later, but it's 7.. about time to have the aurora come out."

 "....Wait. An Aurora?"

 "Yeah! An Aurora."

 "That sounds familiar." You said. "An Auror..." You paused and had to take a second to realize something. 

 "...Auroras are usually in the arctic."

 "Yeah?" Player tilts their head. 

 "HOW ARE WE-- SEEING THIS?" You ask. "IS THIS-- IN THE ARCTIC??"

 "(Y/N), no, it's just a sky, nothing to be freaked out about."

 "Are you sure??? Because this is a little... abnormal?"

 "Yeah." Player shrugs. "Plus, it's not just in the arctic they can be seen, so you shouldn't really worry! C'mon." He pats your shoulder in a reassuring way.

 "Oh. My bad, then, ahah." You stay quiet, staring back at the sky. It was beautiful, breathtaking even. You decided to not dig into this. "Well, at least it's pretty." You say.

 "Yeah, real pretty." They say. "Kinda like you." Player then slowly adds with a slightly shy smile.

 Your face turns slightly red. "You're so dorky." 

 "YOU'RE dorky too, stupid." Player chuckles. You scoff and simply cross your arms with a smile. You didn't mind the comment, though.
