"Can we.. be friends, Izana?" I looked over to him, he had a slight hue of pink on his cheeks.
He immediately turned his head away from me "Yea! Let's be friends!.."

"I'm sorry, Izana!"
"It's fine if you can't remember, you can-" "No, I'm sorry about what I said to you" my words seemed to extremely surprise him.
"I'm sorry for saying that it's your fault!.... It's really not your fault that Kenji did that.. I'm so sorry for saying that stuff to you" I gulped before continuing to talk "And, you're not just a 'filthy Delinquent'.. I'm sorry, it wasn't your fault" I slowly loosened my grip from his arm and looked down.
"It's actually my own fault for not being able to help him" I mumbled, I felt some warm tears rolling down my cheeks.
"Aw.." I felt his hand reaching the back of my head, he let out a small sigh before pulling me into his chest.
"Don't cry, it's not your fault either" it was silent for a few seconds "I'll take care of you" he mumbled into my head before slightly pulling me out of his chest.

" 'People that are in love', huh?" he mumbled - was he quoting someone?
A slight hue of pink appeared on my face - Izana removed his hand from my cheek and put one under my chin to slightly lift my face towards his.
He leaned closer.. and closer.. but stopped when he was just a tiny bit away from my face.
He just looked into my eyes for a few seconds, as if he was looking for some kind of approving.
He then closed his eyes and before I could realise what he was intending to do his lips were already pressed against mine.

"Y/N, there's people waiting for you right now, people that are actually real"
My grip around his hand tightened.. I wasn't gonna leave this place.
"Izana promised to take care of you"
"Izana?... Who's that supposed to b-"
"Stupid, focus on the street!!"
"I wouldn't let us crash anyway, I told you I'd take care of you, remember?"
"Do you really think he could ever forgive himself if you die here?"

"You want to know why I kissed you?" he stared into my eyes, suddenly all my confidence was gone - I was extremely flustered.
"Yea...." I gripped onto the mattress.
"Because I like you, Y/N"

i felt a small tear rolling down my cheek, i couldn't hold back the smile that had sneaked onto my mouth.
