"Nice to meet you Sir." She said to him, extending a hand towards him politely with a smile on her face. He squinted his eyes and then back at his nephew and then back at her. He grabbed her hand and shook it giving her a warm smile.
"Nice to meet you darling." She realized that it was thanks to his uncle that Eddie was used to calling people pet names every now and then. She stood her place and then looked at Eddie. He fumbled a little and approached them.
"I was about to take her home." Eddie said and Wayne shook his head.
"Nonsense! I brought enough food for five people! Do you like Chinese?" Wayne asked Y/N and she was nervous as to what to do. She didn't want to intrude, but also, Chinese didn't sound so bad.
"Wayne..." Eddie said as he pinched the bridge of his nose completely nervous, because he had to get out of this situation somehow.
"I would love to stay." Y/N said, hunger winning over her. Eddie's eyes widened as he slowly turned to look at her. She looked up at him and blinked, blushing slightly to then look back at his Uncle who had a wide smile on his face.
"Great, you can tell me how Eddie is doing at school!" He said and walked into the living room and Y/N smirked and gave Eddie a look before following Wayne. The long haired boy wanted the earth to swallow him whole. She could do so many damage to his image in just a few seconds. He bit his lip and Wayne had already put three plates on the coffee table. Y/N took a seat on the couch and no matter how you looked at it, she didn't fit in his world. The trailer, the dark theme of his room, himself.
He opened the fridge and took out three beer cans and walked over to them. Wayne sat on an individual couch and Eddie had to sit on the other edge, next to Y/N. He handed each a beer, and they all opened it. Eddie looked at Y/N and he saw her blink at the can. She didn't want to be rude, so she had to swallow up her disgust. She took the can to her lips without cleaning it and took a sip. She can wash her mouth later on. Eddie smirked and Wayne started serving everyone some Chaw-Mien and spring rolls. They began eating and finally the old man talked.
"So, Y/N... A project together. Did he fail or something?" He asked and Y/N frowned slightly and swallowed her bite of food.
"Um, no... did he not tell you?" She asked and Eddie was nervous as to what she was going to say about him. She had full control of this conversation and she could destroy him in the matter of seconds.
"Tell me what, what did Edward do?" Y/N held in the second laugh of the night as she heard Eddie's full name. She cleared her throat and smiled as she looked down on her food.
"He actually got an A-... He is tutoring me in biology." She said and Eddie was amazed she actually told the truth. Wayne dropped the fork on the plate.
"What? Is that true? Why didn't you tell me? I could have gotten you something nice!" He said and Y/N looked between him and Eddie and the long haired guy swallowed his spring roll.
"Yeah, I didn't tell you cause... I forgot." He said sincerely and Wayne shook his head with a sigh. He then smiled up and nodded at Eddie.
"Well... Good job son. You have good grades in biology, and look at the pretty girl you get to tutor, huh." He said and Y/N blushed at his statement which made Eddie choke on his sip of beer. If only his uncle knew that at school, they didn't even look at eachother. "Actually, too pretty for you, may I say." He finished his phrase and Eddie looked at him with an offended look on his face.
"Hey, old man, I have my way with the ladies, all of them think I am gorgeous, alright?" He defended himself and Y/N was trying to hold her laughter in as they bantered with eachother.
