"(N/n)... (N/n)...! Hey, wake up!"

(Y/n) furrowed her brows in annoyance and slightly opened her eyes. She noticed it was still dark outside the window, it was probably midnight or early in the morning.

She then saw Eren looking down at her with a frown on his face as he clutch onto his blanket.

"What is it?" (Y/n) sat up and let him sit beside her, which he did.

"I couldn't sleep," he said, moving closer to her and leaning on her shoulder.

(Y/n) studied him for a moment before speaking up, "Was it a nightmare?"

Eren slightly shrunk down and slowly nodded. (Y/n)'s gaze soften and gently rubbed his head, wiping the dried tears on his cheeks.

"Wanna sleep and cuddle with me tonight?" she asked. Eren didn't respond and plopped himself onto her bed, making her chuckle.

"I'll take that as a yes." she laid down with him and wrapped her arms around him.

"Do you want to talk about it?" she asked, playing with his brown hair.

Eren hugged her waist and rest his head on her collarbone, "...I dreamt about you."

"Some people took you away from me and I chased after them..." his hug got a little tighter as she listened to him quietly.

"No matter how much I chase after them, I couldn't get closer. It's like I'm just running in place as they get further. I can feel myself moving forward but I'm not making any progress closer to you..."

His body started to tremble as tears started to drip from his eyes. He sniffled and dug his face into the crook of her neck.

"I don't want you to leave me..."

(Y/n) pulled him closer and rubbed circles on his back, "I won't be leaving you any time soon, Eren. I'll always be here."

She pulled back and wiped Eren's tears away from his face. She cupped his cheeks as he looked at her.

"We'll be doing everything together. We'll eat together, we'll celebrate our birthdays together, we'll grow up together, we'll have our own families together, we'll... hmm." (Y/n) hummed and thought for a moment before lightly shaking her head with a chuckle.

"You get the point." she giggled.

"We got it together..." Eren said and grabbed her hand on his cheek, making her smile.

"Yeah! Together." she gently squeezed his hand.

"Now let's sleep. Those nightmares will no longer bother you with my presence. Shoo, shoo, shoo!" (Y/n) playfully said and they silently shared a giggle.

"Don't tell mom." Eren suddenly said in a serious tone and hugged her.

"I won't."

"What are you doing?" Kaya asked the two kids she found by the river who seems to be the same age as her and it looked like they were fighting.

Gabi and Falco gasped and looked at her in surprise.

"It's so early in the morning. Where did you come from?" she asked.

The two made eye contact as they felt their heartbeats skip a beat. Gabi moved away from Falco before responding to her.

"I... I don't want to say. We hated our home and ran away from it all." she said as she secretly gripped the rock behind her.
