Late in the 4am hour [Player x Reader]

Nowhere else. [12]

 You guiding him back to the house was a silent trip. You two didn't mutter a word, and that's because Player was being all silent. He was glancing at you every few seconds, albeit just not saying a peep.

 What was up with them today???

 Going into the house was a little quiet too, as your Aunt was outside, apparently. You hoped she wasn't working on the plants alone, but she definitely must be. Player just naturally went upstairs, while you decided to bring a few snacks along from downstairs. 

 You went upstairs to see Player waiting for you on the bed, looking anxious? Jeez, what's gotten into that 'em??

 You really wanted to make sure.

 "Are you okay--?"

 "I'M OKAY!" Player smiled nervously. "Perfectly. Fine."

 "...I'm sorry." You blurted out. "Did I... do the wrong thing?"

 "N-no, no.." Player stuttered. "It's something else." 

 "What happened?" You tilted your head, this definitely seemed bad if Player was making a huge deal out of it. 

 "Er. Well..." Player's head slinked back, nervous. "I accidentally.. bumped into Dummy... and might've messed up something they were carrying..."

 "What was it...?" Your head tilted a little more. 

 "It was. Nothing. D-don't worry about it!" Player scratched the back of their head.

 "Are you sure?"  You raised an eyebrow. 

 Player just grinned nervously.

 And grinned.

 Until their smile broke underneath the pressure of your concerned look.

 "Alright— (Y/N). We gotta... talk about something."

 "Yeah?" You tilted your head confused.

 "About the date yesterday..."

 Your stomach sank a little. You didn't mean to just do that out of nowhere. Maybe you should've gotten a literal gift? It was thoughtful, what he did, you felt like you had to give him a little something, physical or not. You just wanted to show a little bit of affection, was it that bad—?

 "We might not be able to go to that Diner again."

 "Huh?" You snapped out of your worried tangent to yourself. 

 "(Y/N), truth is, what I did was a little.. risky. Risky to this place and.. kind of us too."

 "...What are you saying...?"

 "We. Can't really go anywhere else. Aside from here. I wanted to be all lovely dovey and whatever and show you a nice place, and with the probability of the sky out, I couldn't let me or you miss out on it."

 "Wait wait wait— probability?"

 "..Yyeaaahhh." Player scratched the back of their head. "I. Didn't expect the northern lights. I just went with it as soon as I saw them."

 What. What did Player mean by 'Probability?' Surely, he meant the time the lights were going off right?

 Right?

 "Still, I- I just wanted you to have a good time, and I didn't want you to get worried over anything!"

 "So.. we're basically stuck here in this spot or...?"

 "Yeah, pretty much. We can't really go anywhere else or it might. Do some more damage." Player looked down. 

 "More damage?" You asked. 

 "It's nothing you should worry about, trust me. Dummy'll handle it."

 "...I think."

 "What was that last part?"

 "Nothing! You shouldn't worry." Player grinned with a thumbs up. "We had everything sorted about before, so we should be fine." 

 We should be?

 Or is that just.. hope?

 Whatever it is, it sure as hell is making Player a little anxious. You didn't want to see them like this. You sighed, gently taking his hand. "Alright.. well... I just want you to know something, Player. I don't need anywhere else."

 Player looked at you with a confused expression. "What do you mean?"

 "I mean, as long as I'm with you, I don't need anywhere else. I'll be fine with you with nowhere else to go. I guess what I'm trying to say is.. well, I don't care about going about other places." You gently took their hands, holding them up with yours. "It's cause uh... you probably already know."

 "Yeah, I do. I love you too." Player grinned.

 "I-I meant because I care for you... but yeah, that too." You grinned right back at him. "You sure this isn't too quick, though?" You ask with an anxiously expression.

 "Bah, what's the matter with it?" Player shrugs. "This is something you and I want, anyway."

 Without any other word, Player pulled you in for a kiss, gently wrapping their arms around you. You turn bright red, melting into the kiss and wrapping your arms around their neck. It only lasted for a minute, but you both pulled away slowly for air.. only to immediately get another kiss in a few seconds later. You two were at it for a hot minute, Player pulling you extremely close from the waist as you continued to practically melt into liquid from the affection. Suddenly, footsteps approached you two, as you both immediately pulled away. Cashier was attempting to pretend he didn't see anyone there, taking out the trash, but once you two stared at him, he began staring back at you two. 

 "...Uh. Sorry." He said before shuffling inside. You two just stared blankly, until Player began to chuckle a bit. You both ended up busting out laughing from what just happened. 

 "Maybe we should just head back to your Aunt's place, haha." Player said while scratching the back of his head. 

 "..Yeah." You smiled. 

 Before you were about to walk, Player stopped you.

 "Oh no, no. Allow me." He happily offered, picking you up bridal style. You flinched in shock. You weren't expecting this. 

 "Let's get going!" Player grinned even wider, rushing off with you in his arms. Giving you little pecks on the cheek every few seconds.

I FIXED THE ENDING SO ITS NOT THAT BAD NOW!! This book means so much to me, and I'm so sorry it took so long to update this. Hopefully I'll add extra, but for now, this may be considered the end.

Until, of course, I get energy to do the thing I really wanted to with this book, and revamp it in some sort of way,,, I plan doing it in the future, but for now, I'm gonna add extra stuff to other books and maybe make a new one.

"Hey, (Y/N), do you think it's strange that this entire time, I've never seen two of my friends?" Player asks while you two were hanging up in your room.

 You turn your head. "Really..? Where are they?"

 Player shrugs. "Dunno. But they're somewhere here."

 "...Somewhere here." 

 "...OOkkkay then?" You said, blinking in confusion. "I'm sure they're alright." 

 "Weeeellll, hopefully they are!" Player smiled, still holding you bridal style while he looked out of the window. 

 "Ah, when are you gonna put me down?" You nervously smiled.

 Player then began to laugh "Ahaha! Haha... never." Then giving you another kiss on the cheek, now finally sitting down.

 "You're practically smothering me right now." You chuckled. 

 "Ah.. yea.. sorry! I'm just really excited. I kind of wanted this to happen for a bit.." They say, "Now it has, I wanna give you every piece of love I got!" They nuzzle their face onto your cheek. You couldn't help but kiss them on the lips, and wrap your arms around them contently.
