Piggyback pt:1

Steve turned around to face you and wagged his finger in your face like a mother, "watch it l/n."

You rolled your eyes as everyone filed out of the trailer.

Steve stopped the three of you, "Guys listen. If things here go south, I mean, at all, you abort."

You all nodded.

Steve continued his speech, "okay? Draw the attention of the bats. Keep 'em busy for a minute or two. We'll take care of Vecna. Don't try to be cute, or be a hero or something. Okay, you guys are just-"

You cutt him off, "decoys, we know we know."

He wagged his finger in your face, "especially you, 'kay kid? That stunt last summer with you trying to help us and getting kidnapped by the Russians with us was total bull ok?"

You waved him off, "yeah, yeah, I know. I already got lectured like six times by you for that. Don't worry, you can be the hero Steve."

"Absolutely," Eddie said, he pointed to himself and Dustin, "I mean look at us, we are not heros."

Steve nodded and turned to walk the other way.

Eddie stepped forward, "Hey Steve."

Steve turned to face him.

"Make him pay." Eddie said.

Steve nodded and turned to walk off.

Eddie nodded as well and watched them leave.

"Not bad" he remarked

"Not bad at all" Dustin replied

They looked at each other before you spoke up, "now for the fun part"

Eddie opened his door and took a few steps in with the two of you following before stopping.

"Jesus Christ." Eddie stared at his guitar before taking slow steps forward.

"It's like... she was destined for an alternate dimension" he said entranced.

"What do you say kids?" He picked the guitar up from the wall.

He slowly turned around, "are you ready for the most metal concert in the history of the world?"

Dustin took a step forward, "is that a rhetorical question?"

Eddie swung the strap over his shoulder, "Let's do it."

"she's in, move to phase three"  Robin's voice rang over your walkie.

"Copy that. Initiating phase three." You said speaking into the microphone.

Dustin plugged the power cord into the extention cord.

Once you heard the Amp wiring you turned up the volume all of the way.

"Hope the hear this." Dustin commented

Eddie took the pick from the strings, "Chrissy this is for you."

He played a few cords before playing a song that you recognized.

You looked to Dustin, "the really cool thing is, that song came out 2 weeks ago."

He laughed and began humming the words as you both sat back for a minute.
