"You don't think..." Max looked at Robin alarmingly and the older girl almost choked at this.
"Oh my god, no! They can't be a thing!" Max shook her head and turned to Mike and Dustin.
"Did he ever say he has a thing for her? Or something...?" She asked alarmingly and my face softened at the worry of the girl. We indeed didn't know why he was clinging to her like that, but she didn't seem to mind at all. My heart beat fast as she passed our table, glancing a look towards us as her troop followed behind. Her stare was cold, and it sent shivers down my spine. Did I fuck up that badly? We could still be friends... right?
"Freaks." Patrick said as he mimicked devil horns over his head with his index fingers and it made my whole blood boil. She didn't say anything and continued walking without looking over at us. They all sat down in their usual table and I gulped heavily. Why couldn't we just hang out like before after school? I knew it was because of the project, but most of the time we spent it joking around and going at eachother's throats... It was fun. But maybe it was for the best, letting her go back to her throne as I went back to mine. We couldn't possibly be. Then, the biggest surprise of the day happened, as we all stared at the cafeteria doors.
There, hand in hand, were Chrissy Cunningham and Jason Carver. I felt a sting in my chest and I immediately looked at her, remembering her feelings towards the cunt. She was looking at me. My eyes softened as I looked at her and she diverted her gaze from me. She was hurt by something, and I couldn't quite pinpoint what it was. My biggest guess was the now official couple that walked into the Cafeteria. He had a big stupid grin in his face and I wanted to smack it right off. He was finally official with her and I cannot even believe someone like Chrissy would date someone like him, and she even had a big smile on her face for it. Was Y/N okay?
"Earth to Eddie!" Jeff called me out of my trance and I looked at him completely bewildered.
"Wha-what?" I asked trying to focus on him and he rolled his eyes at me and sighed.
"When is the next campaign?"

Monday morning. The days passed like butter since I had to meet so many clients I ditched thanks to my Princess' passing from weeks ago and I had a mourning ceremony of weeks. I was nervous as I read over my speech for today's presentation, singing metal in front of a crowd is one thing, talking about chromosomes and sperm in front of teenagers is another. I was sitting at my desk already and I saw her walk in. She had a high pony tail on, wearing some tight denim jeans with a baggy polyester red sweater, tight at her waist. She looked... amazing. I loved the color red on her, I came to notice that, be it her clothes, her cheeks or her lips. She immediately took the seat next to mine and I became nervous as we didn't speak one word to eachother. She was looking towards the class as Mrs. Laker walked into class.
"Hello students! We'll begin with the presentations shortly, I will let you get together with your partners and gather yourselves before we begin." She commented and I saw Y/N get the cardboard poster out, displaying it on her table. I looked over and she had done it so easy to understand for everyone and I realized her handwriting was perfect, symmetrical, unlike mine. She had pasted some pictures and drawn some other few things so that her descriptions matched the picture.
"It looks good." I mentioned to her and she slightly jumped at my voice. Holy shit. Did I just get that kind of reaction from her? She glanced at me slightly and looked back down at our project.
"Thank you. Not like you've done anything with it." She commented and I was taken aback by this. This was as if it was our first day we were assigned to this project, and I didn't like it one bit. I grinned and looked at her.
