TWO: SHE'S SO COLD

A soft scowl is what she wants to express. She wanted to push her away.

"...Thy am Y/N, the la.... Never mind."

Y/n pauses from saying her full title, seeing no worth in it anymore.

"Oooh! I'm Mei! You're so pretty. Let's be friends!" She says excitedly, holding her phone to take a selfie of the two, the bright flash hurting Y/N's eyes, but she resists pushing away the cheery girl.

"This is Pigsy! Oh, and that's Tang!" She introduces her to the two, who waved politely.

"Why would Monkey King want to make us watch his child!? We aren't babysitters." The pig crosses his arms, annoyed.

'A child!?' Y/N raged at the thought. How could he mistake her for his child?

Y/n stayed silent, worried that she would come off as rude and cause more trouble.
In reality she was just trying to find the right time to leave.

"Pigsy! Don't be so rude. She's cool, so it doesn't matter!" Mei hugs Y/n tight, which startles her, but then gives in.

"Yeah, Pigsy. You have to be nicer to people." The noodle guy lectures the shop owner which only makes the pig fuel.

"I don't think you should be talkin', freeloader." He gives Tang a threatening glare which only makes Y/N cross her arms in confusion.

Mei and Y/N end up talking though it was mostly Mei due to Y/N being 'shy' as the dragon girl put it.

"Do you want some noodles, N/N? my treat!"

"N/n..?" she turns to Mei, who was grabbing a bowl of noodles for herself, placing the coins on the counter, which Pigsy grabbed while huffing, looking at Y/N to know if she was ordering.

"Oh, sorry. I guess it slipped out! I, I don't know, I thought--"

"I don't eat cooked foods." Y/N cut off her worried rambling, not knowing how to answer to it.

Y/N shakes her head softly at the pig, who 'hms' and turns around, receiving a phone call from a customer, she assumed.

Screams of citizens were heard from outside, causing Mk's friends to look outside to see what had caused the commotion. Y/N just resting by the wall, slightly turning her head towards the outside.

A shiver went down her spine at the familiar aura, oh so cold.

"Oh no! Bull clones are everywhere! What do we do?" Tang yells, shaking in fear. Which makes the girl who is now standing behind them scoff, making them all turn to her.

'Are they all this pathetic?'

"We must quickly evacuate until the kid comes back." Tang quickly agrees with the lar gibbon, not wanting to be here anymore.

"And what, just run away? sorry missy, but I ain't going down without a fight!" Pigsy rolls up his messy sleeves. Honestly, it was quite embarrassing for Y/N.

"Yeah, and with what weapon or powers?" She coldly asks, annoyed with how determined the two stupid kids were. Mei already has her sword out, excited. But she and the pig froze at the question, looking at Y/N's annoyed face.
