Chapter 7: You

One of her hands got out of your grip because of the impact you took from the fall. Now her other hand has successfully latched on your neck. She wanted to press harder on your windpipe but you gripped on the wrist of her hand that was choking you, firmly keeping it in place just so she wouldn't be able to add more pressure on your windpipe.

You glared at her, brows knitted together as you bared your teeth at her. She did the same but with a more furious and frustrated expresion.

"If I do die today-! I'LL BRING YOU TO HELL WITH ME!!"

You could hear heavy footsteps coming your way. Looked at the entity that was nearing the two of you, you sent him a look yet your face made you look like you were glaring at him, making him stop.

It was slowly getting harder to breath, so as your last retort was to let go of her other hand and reared your fist beside your head. Punching her square on the face, causing her to let go as she rolls to the side, clutching her face and screaming in pain from the impact of your fist to her face.

You took a shaky yet deep breath, feeling light headed but pushed through and slowly stood up. Watching her scream from the immense pain she was feeling as blood dripped through the gaps of her fingers.

"Who said.. that I'd come along with you?" You felt slightly breathless yet you were able to speak firmly.

You glared down at her as one of your hands held your neck, your glowing eyes became more visible than before but no one was able to see it but her, because you back was facing the others.

You stumbled back slightly as the woman below you passed out, either from the pain, fatigue, or fear.

But before you could stumble and fall, the entity caught you in his gentle embrace. He held unto you firmly, laying his head on your shoulder, giving you a warm and gentle hug. You wanted to wrap your arms around him too but he was right behind you so you couldn't. Additionally, you were feeling tired from almost getting strangled, already expecting there to be a hand mark on your neck.

You let out a heavy sigh, tilting your head to face the SCP or at least to catch a glimpse of him from behind you. He looked like he did not want to let you go. Though you didn't mind, he wasn't doing anything bad other than embracing you anyways. Though the warmth he was giving you was making you feel slightly drowsy.

"Hm... You're making me feel really drowsy, Doc.." you spoke in a whisper.

"..."

He didn't reply and chose to stay quiet for a while before he finally responded back, tone gentle and almost tender. "Do you wish for me to let go?"

His reply made you ponder of an answer. You like the warmth his embrace provided, but you were also having the feeling of wanting to hug him back. So you made the decision to reply with just that.

"No, but I do wish to return the hug."

Your eyes became half-lidded as you stare into each others' eyes. He hummed before gently turning you around, making your front face him.

"As you wish.." He spoke before embracing you again, but this time you were able to return the hug.

The only thing you could hear was his breathing, he was taking deep breaths. It was a really calming moment which was slowly lulling you to sleep with each passing second.

"I think I'll be taking a nap now.. so please don't let go.." You murmured softly as you allowed sleep to pull you in.

"As you wish.. My dear.." he replied back yet you have already drifted to sleep, still within his embrace.
