Chapter 60 - The end of me

Aaliyah and her husband couldn't make it because of a serious case they had to handle in court. I was a bit disappointed at that but understood their situation.

"I never got to tell you how ravishing you look in this dress." Blade whispered huskily in my ear as I placed the presents from the Rodriguez's along with the others we've received so far from literally everyone.

Blade circled his arm around my waist and pulls me closer to his body, his hot breath fanning the side of my face. His cologne wafting in the air around us and the warmth radiating from him made my pulse to quicken.

"Oh really?" I quirked an eyebrow with a smirk, my heart fluttering at the compliment. We stood by the table filled with presents so no could really see when Blade's fingers trailed up my dress, skimming past the gun holster strapped to my inner thigh. He wasn't surprised by it though. I was prepared for anything.

"Yes, baby. I want to rip it off of you and fuck you so hard until your legs give out." He peppers kisses down the side of my neck and sucked the delicate skin above my collarbone, not hard enough to leave a mark.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Their body came barrelling into us. I staggered back from the force with a laugh and wrapped my arms around them in a tight hug.

"Happy birthday." I planted kisses all over their smiling face with tears forming in my eyes. This day was a special day and I'm going to make sure they had the best time of their lives.

"Thanks, mom." They mumbled simultaneously. It wasn't planned. It just happened naturally.

"Happy birthday to my lovely princess and handsome prince." Blade beamed, lifting them up in his arms with Leo settled in his right hand and Nora settled in his left hand. They both threw their small arms around his neck and pressed their cheeks to his.

"Thanks, daddy." Nora kissed her father on his cheek with that dimpled smile we both couldn't get enough of.

"I'm indeed a prince." Leo nodded his head, loving the sound of that. I slapped a hand over my mouth and began to laugh.

"I hope you're having a great time?" I asked. Judging by the enthusiasm that radiated off of them, I knew the answer to my question but I just needed to hear it from them.

"Of course, mommy." Nora leaned her head against her father's temple, not wanting to let go when he placed Leo to stand on his feet. Blade loved his children equally but he was more closer to Nora. I never questioned it. They always had this special bond. He called her Asia because she was the rising sun in his life. She filled the void in his life after we lost Layla. The thought of it makes me want to tear up.

"This is the best day of my life." Leo giddily said with a wide smile on his face and ran off to meet his siblings and his cousins. Raphael was busy playing a video game on his iPad with a couple of other kids while Rebecca and Bianca played around with dolls.
