"That girl is not from where she had Originally stated" Wednesday said looking down into her food.
"Your telling me, she had some kind of mental break down in class yesterday, and I thought we were all fucked. She made all of the papers in the room float" Ajax explained. I watched as Wednesday absorbed all of this knowledge. She was like a sponge, sometimes I worried if Goody was getting to her. She had told me what had happened last year and what Goody had to do to make sure Wednesday would make it. But it worried me.
"Repugnant behavior? She must be hiding something?" Wednesday questioned
"Or maybe she's just stressed?" Wednesday glared at me. "You know what, nah you right, she scandalous. Let's get her!" I laughed.
"Ajax, can you find some more things out about her? Maybe ask her on a date" Wednesday exclaimed excitedly.
"Okay?" He answered.
"So when are you going to ask Enid on a date?" Bianca asks and I feel my face turn bright red.
"The chances that I get struck by lighting are far more likely" Wednesday retorts. That stung. I sunk down in my seat and pulled out my phone. I went straight to Snapchat and posted on my story. I took a picture of me and Wednesdays legs and feet with a caption that said
'Crushing 💔🫠'
As the day went on people began to slide up on my story.
Bianca: I know who it is!! 🖤
Enid: it's not Ajax 🫣
Bianca: Ik 🤐 but your secret is safe with me.
I could feel my stomach churn, did she actually know?!If she does, hopefully she wouldn't tell her.
Ajax: who?
Enid: someone I don't have any classes with
Ajax: oh...okay...
Hinting that it wasn't him, because we had classes together. I noticed his disappointment and I automatically felt bad.
On my way up to the room later that night, I saw Wednesday speaking with her mother. I shyly waved at her before ascending up the stairs to Ophelia Hall.
Once I got to the room, I kicked off my shoes and plopped down in bed to blog.
"Is Xavier still falling for Wednesday Addams? And is that new Olivia girl really all she says she is?" I went on to write about Olivia and everything she's been doing. Practically warning the entire student body of her weird ways.
The door shortly crept open. I glanced over and noticed Wednesday glaring at me. She quickly pulled her phone from her pocket and marched over to my side of the room. Taking a seat on my bed.
"What is this?" She asks, showing me the picture I had posted earlier today.
"Oh that's nothing" I awkwardly laughed.
"I thought we weren't doing that this year? She asked coming to her feet.
"We're not, yes I like them but that doesn't mean it's going to happen Wednesday, okay chill" I sat up.
"Who is it?" She asks. And I just shook my head and blushed.
"You don't know them, they don't go here" I said, I didn't think before I spoke so the words kinda just came flying out.
"Well forget about him, we have more import matters to attend" she turned on her heel and began to pace. "Olivia lied, she isn't from Iowa! She was just released from some type of correctional facility" she paces faster.
"Facility? Like a prison?" I asked growing eager.
"Yes something of the sorts, my mother didn't go into detail, but I guess Nevermore was her last option before they kept her in confinement for good" my eyes grew, and I began to fear her safety even more then I had before.
"This sounds dangerous" I said and she snapped her head in my direction.
"Don't" she said.
"Okay, okay, at least sit down so I don't have watch you pace back and forth" I moved my blanket to the side, as if to let someone in and she sat. "So what else do you think she's hiding?" I asked.
"I don't know but I have a feeling we're about to find out" she pulled her phone out and began to search Olivia up on instagram.
Scrolling through her post, they all looked average.
"Something's not right, this must of been the time period of when she was incarcerated. Because there are no post from October of last year to September of this year" I looked at Wednesday screen and all I saw was that Olivia girl with many different guys on her arm.
"She got around, that's for sure" I said scrolling down Wednesday phone.
"Yes, which means she'll be more inclined to accept Ajax's offer" she nudged me with her shoulder in excitement, before she laid down next to me, cradling her phone on her chest. "This is going to be a lot easier then I had previously anticipated" she grinned, and I felt a smile invade my features.
She quickly turned her head and noticed my smile.
"What?" She asked.
"You don't smile very often" i said back, taking one of her braids into my hand, sticking it under my nose like a mustache.
"Your such a child" she said before picking her phone back up and going to her and Ajax's messages.
"Don't forget to ask her tomorrow" was all she typed out, before hitting send. She slid up, revealing her Home Screen, and I noticed her background.
"Aww!!! No way!!!" I snatched the phone out of her hand and observed the picture closely. "How long has this been your Home Screen?!" I asked, handing her back her phone.
"Since last semester, i didn't have any other pictures..." her face started to turn a tent of red and I knew she was lying. She clearly had other pictures, but why me. Why not Pugsley. Why not Morticia? I didn't dwell on it for very long because...I mean I was her best friend. That was probably why...I mean, Wednesday Addams would never fall for me...
