Part 2 - "Waiting For You"

"Do you wanna eat something? You are still weak." Jimin asked, wanting to distract Seokjin.

Seokjin shook his head lightly, "I am fine." saying that he went to the bed he was lying before and lied down again, pulling the blankets above him. He silently cried. That whole day and night Yoonmin can hear occasional sniffling but they decided to give Seokjin space and time to accept the reality and come in terms with it.

From next day Yoonmin treated him like their family. They took care of him until he got totally healed. For next few months they kept him inside their home, hidden from everyone.

Then when they felt things are little calmer they made Blue land's citizenship card for him using their connections, so that he can work and live here freely like them.

Seokjin joined them in their bakery business and soon they became a little family of three people.

Sometimes Seokjin thought if not from here but atleast he can go to Borahae land from any other country. Like what if he went to any other country first, made citizenship papers of there and then go to Borahae land pretending to be from that another country. Once he reached his country he will make it work anyways, it's his home, he can prove it once he reached there. No problem with that.

That was something possible enough. But not for him since he doesn't have money, also he doesn't have any connections outside to make his forging papers plan work.

For the first time in his life he realized just how difficult it could be to leave a country. Or to reach his home. And what it's like to be prisoned while having all the means to live like a free bird.

Years passed with him living in Blue land with Jimin and Yoongi. He made more friends as well. In those years Yoonmin got married and even had a baby.

But Seokjin was still there. Same. Breathing and surviving, but not alive. Every night he will look at moon and rewind his and Taehyung's memories in his brain. He couldn't afford to forget a single one of them when that's the only thing he is left with.

He will think about what Taehyung must be doing. How is his life going? Did he met someone nice?

He wished Taehyung did. Though Seokjin himself asked him to wait but now Jin doesn't want that anymore. He just hopes Taehyung found someone who loves him like he deserves. Like Seokjin loved him. He wishes for Taehyung to get happiness meant for both of them combined and then still some.

It was around 10 years later since the war that Jimin asked him one thing.

"Why don't you think about making your own family?"

Seokjin who was playing with Yoonmin's son, Minho, raised a brow, "What do you mean? You, Yoongi and Minho are my family. Aren't you baby?" he asked cooing at the baby.

Jimin smiled but sighed, "Jin hyung, you know what I meant."

Seokjin ignored him.

"Hyung its been 10 years. I don't think Taehyung will mind if you moved on. I think he will be happy infact."

"I know."

"Then what's stopping you? Do you think he is still waiting for you or what? You never get back after a war. I think they must have believed that you are dead even."

Seokjin stiffened at those words and Jimin regretted.

"I am sorry, that was harsh."

"I hope so he isn't waiting anymore. But you made me want to stay alive just bcoz of a hope that I will meet him again. You can't ask me let go of that hope, the only reason of me still breathing and still survive, can you?"
