Wujiu: You know, if you want, we can help you. Do you want to be her knight in shining armor ?

Alva grabbed Wujiu by the collar, looking at him with murderous eyes.

Alva: I've had enough of your help. If you dare touch her even a strand of her hair, I will make you regret being born.
Wujiu: Easy there, I'm not gonna do anything.
Keigan: I don't know what's going on between you two, but don't cause trouble here.

The two of them separated, and then went their separate ways. Wujiu went to find Fiona, Alva went straight into the hall. At 11pm, everyone had already taken their seats, eagerly awaiting the show. Michiko and Mary were captivated by this play. They didn't take their eyes off it even for a second. Ada is wondering why the manor owner would play such a tragic play on New Year's Eve. Throughout the play, Alva kept glancing at [y/n]. [Y/n] thought it was a stupid play as she watched it, but it reminded her of her love with Merlin. Just as Romeo and Juliet's love is not approved, so is their love. [Y/n] admits she is a heavy-hearted person. No matter how much time has passed, she still cannot forget her first love. Just thinking about it is enough to make her cry. The sudden sound of fireworks startled everyone. When they raised their heads to look up, bright lights filled the sky.

Leo: Happy New Year, everyone.
Luchino: Happy New Year.
Emil: Happy New Year, Ada.
Ada: Happy New Year, Emil.
Frederick: I want to add these colors to my music.
Edgar: Huh ?

Everyone turned to wish each other a happy new year. While [Y/n] just stay focus on the fireworks. The only colors that she sees are black and gray. She could only rely on her memories to remember how many colors the fireworks had.

Kevin: That one is dark blue, that one is yellow, that one is pink,...

Kevin was standing right next to [Y/n]. He said while pointing at the fireworks in the sky.

Kevin: That one is white, that one is...
[Y/n]: Kevin, what are you doing ?
Kevin: Oh, since you can't see any color through that black chiffon, I'll tell you what color the fireworks are, so it'll be easier for you to imagine.

[Y/n] was moved by Kevin's concern. She smiled brightly and thanked him, then continued to listen to him talk about the colors of fireworks. After the fireworks display, everyone turned to the snack bar to get something to fill their stomachs.

Robbie: Hey ! Who ate all the grilled skewers !?
Galatea: That's strange. I remember there were over a hundred.

[Y/n] standing at the food table, wondering what she should eat with the least fat. Alva came over and gently asked.

Alva: Can I have a moment with you ?

[Y/n] frowned slightly. Judging by his sincere expression, she guessed that he had no intention of playing any tricks. [Y/n] leads the way. When they reached a hidden location, Alva took out the letter and gave it to her.

Alva: This letter was sent to you a long time ago, but I forgot to give it to you.

As soon as she saw the name "Merlin" on the cover of the letter, [Y/n] immediately snatched it from Alva's hand. The cover of the letter was decorated with hand-painted roses, which is proof that this is indeed Merlin's letter, not a forgery. In the past, when they exchanged letters, Merlin used to decorate his letters with drawings. Most of the decorations are usually roses, [Y/n]'s favorite flower.

[Y/n]: Why...are you giving this to me ?
Alva: Because it's yours.

The Alva she knew for sure would open the letter on his own and read it first. But this letter is still sealed, which means he has never opened it. That made her a little surprised, also a little worried.

Alva: It seems to you that I'm very selfish.

The way she didn't hesitate to immediately admit it made Alva a little disappointed.

Ha ! Because you love me ? What a joke. You and that love of yours ruined my life. If you love someone, you won't force them to do what they don't want. If you love someone, you won't make them cry, or hurt them. If you really, truly, love someone, just seeing them happy will make you happy as well.

I never asked for his love, nor did I force him to do anything for me. It was all his own doing.

[Y/n]: If there's nothing else, let's stop this conversation here.

Alva didn't say another word. After leaving, I immediately made up an excuse to leave the party. I want to know what is written in this letter as soon as possible.

Merlin, my love, my sun. Just one letter from him is enough to warm my heart.
