TITLE: This story's title is short (readable on every device) and simple - which is a good thing. Audrey in Love is definitely a very unique and catchy title. And having the keyword "love" there helps boost views too when readers search for it.

COVER: I love this story's cover too! A very unique colour palette (at least for 抖阴社区) and instantly appealing to the eye. Immediately makes us think this is a sweet story / ChickLit story about a woman / girl falling in love. The science elements on the cover are very evident as well and the title and username are clearly displayed. I would definitely click on this to read ahead.

BLURB: Apart from the cover and title, the blurb plays a major role in determining whether or not someone clicks on your story to check it out

BLURB: Apart from the cover and title, the blurb plays a major role in determining whether or not someone clicks on your story to check it out. The blurb is short and sweet. It immediately starts with an introduction of the conflict. I really love how the rest of the blurb flows. Since we are first shown the Audrey from "before", the revelation creates the right impact. And the line "With a boy. (Not a book.)" wraps it up so well! Perfectly syncs with the vibe and theme of this story and from the first glance, it makes me feel like this is a light-hearted teen romance. The only suggestion I would give is to avoid the random capitalizations in middle of the paras.

CHARACTERS: While what makes someone click on a story is a cover / title / blurb, what makes them stay is your plot and especially your characters

CHARACTERS: While what makes someone click on a story is a cover / title / blurb, what makes them stay is your plot and especially your characters. Their relatability, the whole vibe they give off and how well the characterization is done plays a huge role in a story. After all, it is easy to forget a story's title or maybe even plot but some characters stay with you even after you've finished reading the story. I absolutely wanted to see Audrey's journey since the moment we met in the blurb. The way this story began is perfectly on point for someone like Audrey. She is such a mood honestly! I love her personality + character so so much! Their first interaction gave me butterflies and it was so fun seeing a confident girl melt into a puddle of emotions when interacting with her competitor. And academic rivals for the win!!! This is such a fun trope and you've executed it so well.

Judging from the 5 chapters I have read...

PACE & PLOT -  The pace of this story is just perfect in my opinion. I'm really enjoying Audrey's perspective on things. She would, of course, comment to herself about how the school was not about learning but everything else. She boasts a bit internally about her grades - which again, is very on point for her. Her mind is a very hilarious and interesting place. I felt like & before in the para where the new kid shows up, the flow breaks a bit. It could be made clearer that the scene was supposed to be shifting (maybe with * * * or emojis or text of some sort). Pen is so freaking adorable and her L-i-am theory was just *chef's kiss*

DESCRIPTIONS - If there was just one thing I would suggest to change about / work on this story, it would be this. Don't get me wrong, there are enough descriptions in this story. But sometimes the dialogues (from a number of people) overpower a scene and adding descriptions can help break them apart.

GRAMMAR & WRITING - I am not here to edit and pinpoint small mistakes (a simple run though MS Word or Grammarly can do that) so I'll be saying this from a reader's perspective - the kind that don't intentionally try to hunt for mistakes. Overall, I felt like were a few grammar / punctuation errors but all you need is a quick run through MS Word or similar softwares to solve them. Some word choices could have been better too but this will definitely improve with practice so nothing to worry about.

READIBILITY & AESTHETICS - The paragraphs are sized properly - neither too small, nor too big and the overall aesthetic of the story on the screen is perfectly adequate. I personally feel the small chapters work for this story. Feels like a very ideal length. I like how you give a song / playlist that describes the chapter before each one starts. Really helps get into the vibe for the ones who listen to music while reading.

Overall, a very cute story. Had fun reading so far! I'm definitely going to be reading ahead as well. Wishing you good luck for this story *_*
