Chapter 6

" In my defense, we just came out of covid and I was done with math, but anyway. What did you find out?" [Name] tried to play it off, bringing them back to the topic. Beth huffed at this but said nothing.

"Well I recently rewatched Alice in Borderland-

"What does this have to do with them going back home?" [Name] complained, blowing the hair from her face impatiently. This action made her friend smack her along the head, almost making her hair ruin again.

"Like I was saying, I was rewatching the series. I was watching it to get an idea on what we needed to look for since they were in a similar situation— stranded from home," Beth said pausing, before continuing when she saw the girl listening, "I saw all the games for motivation to get my brain pumping!" Beth said making her best friend playfully roll her eyes before smiling.

'Yeah, definitely not for Chishiya."

"Come on Beth, get to the point."

"Okay, it's not really a solid way to get them home but a theory," she held her finger in the air, catching all the dogs attention. " You remember the game where Arisu and Usagi was in the tunnel and how they rain away from the goal?" This caught the other girls attention, making her furrow her brows a bit before coming to the same conclusion as her friend.

"You're proposing the way to get them back was in front of our faces this entire time!"

"Yeah, but I don't know what's the trigger."

All the dogs sagged before [Name] felt a tug on her leg. It was the rose dog, Sanzu, specifically the Bonten version. The girl hummed in question before following the criminal to where he was tugging her.

"Beth come here," listening to her friend. Beth followed the girl, as did the others. Making to the destination, they both saw where he led them. It was to the shelf where she had put the rest of the powder making Beth uneasy, "Do you think it's a good idea to turn them back?" She asked, seeing the contemplating look on her friends face. [Name] shrugged, partly because of her own confusion and worry.

"More people could lead to more answers," [Name] said, grabbing the container of the powdery substance. "Come one, let's gets the other dogs. I don't think we're in that much danger, remember we got the other cast with us if anything happens," Beth sighed at this, casting her bestie a cautious glance.

"If you say so." She mumbled.

Arriving back to the living room she picked the small white dog up.

"Looks like you're going first Emo!"

Setting him down, she opened the container for him, before setting the pinkish powder on the ground. She watched as the dog blankly gulped a tiny bit of the powder down before hearing a puff. In his 5'4 (162 centimeters) glory, the leader looked up at the girl before sighing and walking away.

"Damn I guess you're that ugly," Beth said as she pointed to the other girl's face before letting the other dogs turn back into human. It took quite a while for all of them to become human, which made anxiety for the girls build up. The only saving grace from getting shot was that they were dogs, but now— they were human. [Name] hoped and prayed for them to be on their best behavior.

Although something worried you when you it was the black dog's turn.

The last dog that was turned was the pinkish one. Sanzu. This made the girl shiver as she met his eyes, his Toman version was already crazy enough, but this version was a whole new concept. If loyalty and obsession was a person, she was sure as hell sure it would be him, as offensive as it may sound.

"Wah, who knew limbs were this great. Being a dog wasn't as fun it might seem, but I'm sure some of you wouldn't know since you were turned back earlier than the rest of us, huh?" The addict growled, turning his head to the girls on the side, "You knew how important we were, but you made Mikey wait."

The man grumbled before walking up to both girls, towering over them, "So what is it Bitch? How do you wanna die?" The glare of his turquoise eyes were sharp and hard, they could feel the tense atmosphere that was given off from them.

They hesitated before a low monotone voice was heard, "That's enough Sanzu," the Bonten leader said which caused a groan from the other male.

"Hey I wasn't actually going to do something to them, just rough them up a bit," his response garnered a sigh from the other, before he got up and walked away. Having enough of the drug addicted male.

"Woah, who knew the boss took a liking to you!" Bonten Ran said, from both girls side. Directing his response to the [H/C] girl, "Yeah, he doesn't usually interfere with Sanzu's....doings," the Bonten version of his brother said, before chuckling.

"I could see why....you seem interesting." A new voice said, making the five turn around to the sound. Oh that's what you were worried about, "Ah, Mitchy. How long have you been there!" Ran said, before slinging an arm around the male. The other just huffed and ignored him, "Since we turned back," he mumbled after shrugging the arm from his shoulders.

"Well Mrs. [Name], I have some questions for you," he said walking up to the girl, dragging a piece of hair from its place, "Would you clue me in on the reason I wasn't in the Manga?"

There was no answer for this phenomenon, there was never supposed to be a Bonten version of sweet old Takemichi. So how did this happen?

[A/n: Sorry this update took so long, I've been trying to figure a way to end this book while including everyone from the love intérêt before then. I got like four-five chapters to go— or around that many— so I don't know if I should make those chapters really long to fit everything in, or just another book with like a few chapters? It's up to you guys, so y'all can decide!!!]
