"Well you were the one that helped with his death.." Dazai grinned.

"Dazai-,"

"Never mind, this conversation is over." He said, as he finished his drink. He then stood up and was about to walk away until Ango grabbed him.

"That's it?! You brought me here for that?!"

"Yea, and what?" Dazai glared at Ango, "Why should I care about what you're going through, you are no longer something I care about." Ango felt a pain in his chest, as he clenched his teeth.

"How can I trust you ever Ango...." Dazai's sudden change in tone shocked Ango, as he glanced up and noticed his expression..
An expression of longing..

"You took...one of the things I cared most about in this world...and now...I don't know what to do." Dazai looked back at Ango now, "How can I believe anything with you...when I already trusted you back then, and you crushed that trust..." he said.

"Dazai...I..."

But surprisingly, Dazai clenched Ango's hand. "Can you promise me....that you'll help me solve this...and put an end to this nonsense..." he asked. Ango felt his eyes open wide as he stood up now, looking straight at Dazai.

"I can't...deal with seeing Odasaku like this..." he started to whimper, "I need him to rest in peace...cause the kids are probably all alone up there without him..."
Ango held his breath as Dazai continued to speak.

"If they can bring Odasaku back....they can also bring (Y/N) back too....and I don't want that to happen...not to my Mooncake.."

Ango froze...his heart stopped...

"W-Wouldn't you be happy...to see her again though?" that, was the big mistake that Ango had made that night. Dazai let go of Ango's hand and turned so fast towards him Ango didn't even have a chance to react.
Dazai then placed his hand on Ango's shoulder and stared him dead in the eyes, as if looking deep into Ango's soul.

"You think...I'd want to see the love of my life...kill and work for someone without a choice?"

Ango gulped, "N-No...sorry.." he muttered.

Dazai sighed and backed away from him, "Sometimes I wonder if you're really smart or plain stupid Ango.." Dazai then placed a paper on the table before walking away.
"Meet me there on the time and date I wrote...I'll trust you for now." that was all he said before he walked up and left the bar without a sound.

Ango finally could relax, every moment with Dazai felt like walking on a tightrope.
"Kill and work for someone without a choice...huh..." Ango sighed. Of course he knew bringing (Y/N) back was a mistake...but he thought maybe...just maybe if he was able to do that..

He'd be able to see Dazai have a real smile...

The night was cold as Ango lit a cigarette, exhaling as he looked up at the night sky.

"You think...I'd want to see the love of my life...kill and work for someone without a choice?"

"Oi, what're you doing out here in the cold?" Ango turned to see (Y/N) standing there, a smile on her face as she held two cups of what seemed to be coffee.

"....What are you doing giving me coffee when you should be working with Yukito?" He asked, (Y/N) froze and glared at him.
"Jeez, fine no coffee for you then mister." she growled, as she chugged one of them down in a flash.

"...Hey (Y/N).."

"What?" she started drinking the other cup of coffee as Ango pressed his cigarette down on the railing and threw it in a nearby bin.
"When this is all over...do you want to go back to being dead?" It was silent, the cold wind the only sound that could be heard. (Y/N) lifted her lips from her coffee cup and glanced at Ango.

"So, you changed your mind about letting me see my family then?" she scoffed.

"....You heard from Poe...how Dazai saw Odasaku alive again...back from the dead."
(Y/N) looked down as she did recall Poe saying that.
"I talked to him today....and when I said what if it was you, he saw, if he would be happy..." Ango smiled, "He would've killed me if I said anything more on the topic. To him, he'd rather die than see you brought back against your will..." he stared at his cigarette box.

"Well that's the man I fell in love with right there." (Y/N) smiled sadly, as she threw the two cups of coffees away.
"...So...do you want to go back to being dead?" Ango's tone became serious now, as he grabbed (Y/N)'s hand and diverted her attention straight to him.

"Cause I understand where Dazai is coming from...if I ever had to see the one, I love work for someone against their will..."
"Dad...you have such...a beautiful...smile...I love..it...so much...and hope other's will be able to see it...too.."
"I'd rather die..." he muttered.

(Y/N) stared at him for a moment and then touched his hand with her free hand, "You're thinking of your son right?" she asked, earning a look of shock from Ango.

"How-,"

"Yukito told me. You had a son oh so long ago...that's why I'm not as mad at you after I learned that....because the actions you did....were probably something in relation to your son." she said, as Ango let go of her hand.

"I'm sure you told no one of this...so that no one could take advantage of the pain you're still feeling right? Cause I'm sure that pain...is what Dazai has been feeling for a while now." Ango slowly nodded.

"So...sure it would be better for me to just remain dead...honestly that is the route to go. But I want to live, take advantage of this opportunity you gave me to see Dazai again...and my daughter." She smiled, she then grabbed Ango and pulled him into a hug.

"I know that right now, no one in the world may think you're the good guy, and say that you're plain rotten and horrible....but as of now, you got me to fight back against those who say that." Ango felt as if a weight had been lifted off him, as the warmth of (Y/N) kept melted it away.

"You did nothing wrong Ango, you just did what had to be done. I'm sure Odasaku knew that...as well as Dazai deep in his heart."

Ango felt tears coming down his cheeks, this is probably the first time in a long time that someone has been able to say this to him.

"Ha...I see then." he backed away from (Y/N) and turned his head away as to not show her the tears he was shedding. "Thank you..." was all he could say.

(Y/N) giggled and looked up at the sky, "We can do this Ango, I'm sure we can bring an end to all this madness very soon." Ango let out a deep breath and also looked up at the night sky. The clouds had disappeared and now the sky was covered in beautiful stars.

"Yes...we will."
