Chapter Three: "I'm the Doctor"

"(Y/n)!" Yaz yelled.

"Yaz, quiet." I then looked back to Ryan sternly. "You good?" I asked him when he looked back.

"Yeah." He said holding his cheek.

"You sure?" I asked once more, and he nodded. "Sorry."

"It's ok, I needed that." He said with a small smile and I nodded back in turn.

"Great, now let's go save the god damned world." I said as I walked towards the doors. I put the sunglasses on and adjusted the tint so now they looked like regular glasses. Ryan opened the door for Yaz and I, then we walked in.

"I'm so sorry for the diary snafu, sir." A man said to Barton. Must have been his assistant. "Oh, dear this must be them." He said walking towards us. They way he walked and dressed? Definitely assistant. "Hi! I'm sure you recognize Mr. Barton."

"Certainly do." Ryan said and I glanced at him.

"This is Sophia Afzal." The assistant said gesturing to Yaz.

"Hi."

"This is Logan—"

"Logan, er my name is Logan Jackson. I'm the photographer." Ryan said nervously.

"Don't mind him." I said drawing attention to me. "He's a big fan of your work, as we all are." I said and Barton looked at me.

"I'm not nervous, who's nervous? Heh I'm Logan." Ryan said.

"And you are?" He asked.

"The Doctor." I said with a smile and I could see Yaz and Ryan both sharing a look. "I'm their supervisor, but you can call me Clara." I said shaking his hand. He then shook everyone else's hands.

"Don't be nervous. I don't bite." He said with a small smile when he shook Ryan's hand. "Only my own staff." He joked but then shot his assistant a glare. "Especially after this mix-up. I had to fire half the PR team."

"Not over us, I hope." I said with a frown. "Mistakes happen, and we don't want to be to much trouble."

"No, not half." His assistant cut in. "Uh, he's just kidding." He said nervously. "It's just two." I could tell from the sideways glances it was about to be three people. Daniel Barton was cold and calculated I could tell that from the first encounter. I wonder what secrets his office hold. "Shall we go up?" I nodded and followed them up the stairs. "I'm sure they'll be able to find other jobs, won't they?" He asked and was met with complete silence.

Great Victoria Desert, Australia

The Doctor landed the Tardis and raced to the doors. She opened it with a big grin on her face as she met O. "I see you've decoded the fish." He said with a smile. "Fancy a cuppa?"

"Very much." The Doctor replied. "Hello this is my friend, Graham."

"O." He said offering his hand.

"I'm sorry you are?" Graham asked taking it.

"O."

"O?"

"O." He said pulling his hand away. "It was uh joke by others at MI6. Whenever I came into the room to meet C, he'd go 'oh god!'" He said with a small smile. "It sort of stuck, and now I've owned it." He then turned to the two people behind him. They were dressed in uniform and were armed. "This is Seesay and Browning." He said pointing to each of them. "They just arrived. Australian secret service."

"We'll be out here for the whole of your visit. We're under orders to keep all of you safe." Seesay said with a nod.

"Safe from what?" Graham asked.
