It would not take long for the adepti would thrust up in the other man which made Aether move his hands to Xiao his back having scratched at it in the moment. As Xiao does it over and over again Aether would try his best not to scratch the other his back but he just feels weak in the other his arms, his arms feel weak as do his legs and his back is arched. He had to pull away from the kiss to burry his face in the adepti his neck as he was starting to breath heavy, heat up. Both of their bodys feel warm now as Aether neared his orgasm. Xiao would switch their positions so that Aether can rest his head on the pillows as he would be laying on his back as Xiao would be ontop of him since this would take less energy away from Aether. Xiao stops moving for a moment just so they can adjust to the new position as he wraps his arms around Aether with a hand on the back of his neck. They are in the missionary possition right now and it was a passionate position since they are so close. Able to feel eachother breath, able to feel eachothers body from head till toe, able to smell eachother, able to hear eachother's moans loud and clear. Xiao would hold the other in his arms as he would thrust in and out of the other at a steady pace while his face is burried in Aether his neck as he lets out moans that almost sound like whimpers. Aether held onto Xiao having one leg wrapped around the other as he would throw his head back from the pleasure but as he does this he watches how a firework goes into the air and light up the sky with its beautiful colors. A tear streams down Aether his face from sheer bliss as he feels like this moment is unreal of how perfect it was. He would keep his head like this just so he can watch the fireworks but he soon feels a warm thicker liquid fill him up which had his nails digging in Xiao his skin since it was so unexpected. The overwhelming sensation makes Aether release on his own stomach his chest as it was a large load. A load that drained all energy from the other his body as Aether would close his eyes and had lost consciousness.

Xiao hears the firework go up in the air so he looks up from Aether his neck to see it aswell yet doing so he catches a climpse of Aether that he was looking at it aswell. He smiles and almost fully forgot that he was making love to him since he was admiring the other his beauty.  Next thing he knows he feels a weird feeling down there as he burried his face back in Aether his neck, his lips parted yet no moan came out as it got stuck in the back of his troath as he released inside of the other. He was worried the other would hate him for doing so yet feeling the other release aswell it reasures him. Breathing heavy, not moving himself because he is tired Xiao wonders how can people do this for multiple rounds? Xiao, a adepti already was tired from one round...or perhaps they just do not have any expiernce yet. Xiao slowly would calm himself down as he found it strange Aether was not saying anything, not moving...
The adepti pulls away only to see Aether to be passed out so he instandly sits up and takes a napkin he originally brought for the food and starts to clean Aether of and himself before he gets the both of them dressed "i am so sorry " he whispers repeatedly when cleaning Aether since he just felt incredible bad that because of him...Aether passed out. Once fully dressed Xiao takes a few more blankets and covers them both more before even he collapsed from exhaustion since the adepti had only enough energy left for after care and to get them dressed. He did not even have enough energy to take them home.

Paimon had been hanging around with many of people during the festival but when watching the fireworks she was with Keqing and Ganyu. It was a very tiring day for little Paimon so she had fallen asleep against Ganyu who in the end picked her up and would carry her home. When Ganyu was carrying Paimon like how you would carry a child she would come across Zhongli and Childe as she gives them both, mostly giving Zhongli a smile as she can recognize those eyes from anywhere "Rex L-..."

"It is Zhongli now Ganyu" Zhongli smiles at her and walks over to her looking at the sleeping Paimon. "Do you know where she lives?"

"No but i thought i would just look for the traveler." She spoke shyly since she felt bad for calling Zhongli by the wrong name.

Zhongli gives her a nod before he looks at Childe "carry Paimon home. I will return with Aether" he spoke and simply walks off.

Ganyu was confused why she couldnt take Paimon home but she hands her to Childe and rushes after Zhongli since she knows he expected her to follow "Re-...Zhongli. why couldn't i bring her home if i may ask?"

Watching the other catch up on him and walk besides him he could not help but smile since they have not spoken in a long while "you may. It is because Xiao is not fond of Childe"

"How come?"

"Well-..." as they near the spot of where Aether and Xiao would be Zhongli stops in his tracks and turns to look at her "Childe harmed Aether a while back as it could have ended fatally if i did not show up and later on Xiao got Aether out of there. " he spoke and continues to walk once more.

Ganyu connects the dots in her heads and gives the other a nod "that is understandable then-..." both of them come to a stop when they see both of them are asleep and cuddled up against eachother. Ganyu tilts her head confused since Xiao easily can sleep outside but to see him all cuddled up and adorable like this was all to new to her.

Zhongli has never seen Xiao like this either but he does not judge or say anything about it as the archon just walks over to them and picks Xiao up in his arms "do you think you can carry Aether?"

Ganyu quickly nods and smiles at the man "i will try my best" she spoke and picks the traveler up as both the adepti and the archon leave everything behind since that way it would be much easier to carry both of them home.

On the way there they have to walk trough the crowd which means a lot of familiar faces as both of them watch how the two carry the two young men. Where it was less crowded they got stopped by Baizhu who gives both of them a smile "happy new year to you both "he spoke while holding Qiqi her hand since they themselves just came back from watching the fireworks.

"Likewise" Zhongli smiles at Baizhu before he looks down at Qiqi who is looking up at Ganyu, at her hornes. Both men chuckle very softly because of that but seeing Baizhu his expression grow more serious again Zhongli watches Baizhu press his hand against Aether his forehead.

Baizhu had noticed something off about Aether and that is why he did this. He feels how hot Aether is...in fact he is burning up so he looks at Zhongli and steps out of the way so they can keep walking "when he is at home tuck him in well otherwise the cold may get worse. He was exposed to the cold for some time not long ago. Luckily the cold is not bad yet it will most likely take two or three days to recover. Make sure he relaxes and does not walk to much"

Zhongli finds the first part of the diagnosis understandable yet the second part made him look confused at the man with the green hair. "Relaxing and not to walk much?" Seeing the man brush his finger over his own neck as to signal for the archon to look at Aether his neck Zhongli looks over and sees there was a hickey sticking out from beneath the clothing "ah-...i will make sure to let them know that. Anything else i should know?"

Baizhu thinks for a moment but shakes his head "no not really. But now that we are talking to one another perhaps we should get some tea together sooner or later. It has been a while"

"Indeed it has yes. I will think of when we can have tea together. I need to get them home like you said for Aether so goodbye for now Baizhu. Goodbye Qiqi"

Qiqi just looks up at Ganyu still at her hornes as Ganyu feels a little awkward staring at the small girl as she looks lifeless like a puppet ..like she has no soul "goodbye" she waves at the little girl remaining kind regardless and then gives Baizhu a smile before both the adepti and Zhongli kept walking.

Upon arrivial of Xiao and Aether their home they walk up the staires and seeing they are sharing a bedroom they only take their shoes off before tucking them in. Ganyu tucks Aether in extra well so that he remains warm as she takes care of the other so that the cold would not have much affect on the other when he would wake up.

Zhongli would walk over to Childe who is sitting on the couch downstaires with Paimon since Paimon would not let go of him in her sleep "they had a...eventful night"
