"Not in a while, I'm sure he's around here somewhere." He said with a shrug. "If I see him I'll let him know your looking for him."
"Thanks." I leaned against the bar counter and took a drink. The familiar burn of whiskey was comforting. I glanced over at the Doctor who was at the other side of the party. "Actually, how would you feel about making me another cocktail?" I smirked.
"Another one, you gonna finish that one first?" He asked and I rolled my eyes playfully.
"It's not for me." I smirked and he smiled cleaning off his shaker.
"What can I get you?" I smirked before leaning in and whispering it in his ear. He pulled away with a chuckle. "Easy." He said grabbing a martini glass, but he wasn't making me a martini. "So would this be for a date?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Possibly." I said watching as he crack ice into the shaker again. "Are you asking for one?" He glanced at me with a smirk before adding the apple brandy.
"Are you offering one?" I chuckled shaking my head.
"Married, sorry." I said and he smiled clearly not hurt by being turned down. "This drink is for my wife." He nodded as he added the grenadine syrup.
"Pretty, knowledgeable, and married just my luck." He said and I laughed. He shook the drink just as much as he shook mine. "Don't worry, I got a girlfriend anyway." He strained the drink in the glass and gently topped it off with sparkling wine. With two cherries skewered to garnish. He set it on the counter in front of me. "Here you go." He said and I picked it up taking a small sip.
"Not bad, if I had cash I'd leave a tip." He smiled cleaning his stuff again.
"It's fine I'll just leave it here in my invisible tip jar." He chuckled. "Enjoy the party."
"Thanks." I said nodding at him.
As I walked back drinks in hand I walked by the roulette table to see the boys were having a good time. "Red seven!" Ryan protested. "Put it all on red seven. Lucky number seven."
"All of it?" Graham asked.
"What are you boys up to?" I asked as the wheel spun. Graham put all of it on seven.
"I got a feeling about this (Y/n)." Ryan said excitedly.
"No more bets." The croupier called. The wheel began slowing down and everyone at the table watched in anticipation.
"You better be right. Seven." Graham said waiting on baited breath. It slowed and slowed at an agonizingly slow pace.
Finally the ball clicked into a slot. "Seven." The croupier called. Ryan and Graham cheered loudly and I laughed at there excitement. They began flipping out like children on Christmas. Suddenly two women walked by behind us and they immediately straighten themselves. I rolled my eyes, men could be such children sometimes.
"Good evening, ladies." Ryan said.
"That's my grandson." Graham made to point out and I scoffed as the women continued to walk away.
"When this is over, let's go on a trip, just the three of us." I told them as Graham took the chips. "I got a friend in Vegas... anyway don't forget what we should be doing here." Upon still it seeing Barton I took another sip of my sour before walking over to the Doctor. The other players were looking at her curiously. Oh god what did she do now?
"Card." She said and the dealer felt her a card. "Card." She called again. "Card." She then placed down her cards calling. "Snap!" The crowd laughed and I shook my head letting out a disappointing sigh. I walked towards her just as she asked. "Is that not the game?"
