She told her parents she wouldn't fall in love and intended to keep it as that. Wednesday is still holding strong. She's not entirely in love with Tyler. They haven't kissed or held hands. The couple have gone on a few dates however there weren't a lot of physical affections. Wednesday is not fond of touches from anyone and wouldn't allow Tyler to even put an arm around her shoulders. She hoped Tyler would fall out of love because Wednesday doesn't display any emotions near him. Though, he hasn't.
"Looks like Principal Weems brought the original rules from the eighteenth century. What do you think about it?" Tyler asked his girlfriend as she was standing a foot next to him.
"It enrages me," Wednesday simply replied with a deadpan expression.
"Why is that?"
"The possibility of sharing a room with someone who annoys me and disturbs my peace will make me want to grab a pillow and suffocate whoever I'm bunking with while they are sleeping. I was perfectly fine being alone, but it appears Weems chose otherwise," Wednesday's eyes glared towards the principal who was busy chatting with a variety of students.
"Or maybe you won't get a roommate. It's a fifty-fifty chance," Tyler shrugged his shoulders as he was trying to cheer up the shorter girl.
"I doubt it."
"Well, you should get your schedule and find out if you are switching rooms. I need to grab mine and check out what classes I have. I'll catch you later, yeah?" Tyler gave Addams radiant eyes that would make any girl fall head over heels for him, but it had no effect to the psychic.
"That is if I'm not in jail for murdering my roommate, if I have any," Wednesday glanced at Tyler for a few seconds before turning her back to him and walked away without a word.
As Wednesday was looking for a particular table that has a sign with the first letter of her last name, she made sure to search for a pathway where there aren't a huge group of people standing together. If someone were to bump into Wednesday, she would not hesitate to drop kick them. She'll need to focus on her surroundings now that everybody will be in each other's personal space.
Why didn't Principal Weems wait a little longer to change the rules until I have graduated from this monstrosity of a school? Wednesday asked herself as she rolled her eyes.
The Addams found the table she needed to go to. There weren't a lot of students barricading the area, so Wednesday took the chance to speed over to receive her classes. On the way there, she observed some of the newer outcasts to figure out what type of mythical creature they may be. Those wearing blackout glasses are vampires. They are immune to the sun but need glasses to protect their eyes. Anyone wearing a beanie is known as a gorgons. The beanie is used to hide their snake-like-hair to prevent somebody from turning into stones.
Sirens are a little difficult to tell apart. The only way to know if someone is a siren is by touching water. Water helps them transform into a siren along with growing scales, a mermaid tail, and claws. Werewolves are like sirens. They are able to shift into a lycanthrope whenever there is a full moon. They can change their fingernails into razor sharp claws that can cut through almost anything. Those are ways Wednesday knows how to differentiate the students.
She turned back to her whereabouts and was a couple feet away from her destination. Wednesday managed to approach the table without anybody coming as close as five feet to her. Sitting down across from the girl wearing all black is a woman wearing prescription glasses, her hair the color of auburn with bangs, and a smile so big it disgusted Wednesday to the brim.
"Hi there! You must be the infamous Wednesday Addams," the woman exclaimed eagerly as if Wednesday was a celebrity.
"What a shocker. I bet my name is in everyones' mouths because they have never seen anyone like me," she spat out as she folded her arms together.
