"Freaky Friday," my friend announced.
"Dope. I hope that it all goes to plan. I got to head out soon, so I will see you two later. Take care Enid, and text me when you get the chance Yoko," Divina flirtatiously winked at Yoko before walking away.
Once Divina was out of the picture, I couldn't help myself from smiling deviously at the two females. They're hopelessly in love with each other, yet they haven't realized it nor confessed to one another. It's very amusing to see them interact, but I usually feel like the third wheeler most of the time. Someday, they'll shout out their feelings and get together.
"Did she just wink at me?" Tanaka slowly turned her body to me with a tint of redness on her cheek.
I chuckled lightly and replied, "Yes she did. How very romantic."
I mischievously wiggle my eyebrows up and down to mess with Yoko. She turned even more red and nudged me on the side carefully. I laughed a little more and patted the back of Yoko's shoulder.
"I can't wait till you have a crush on someone, so I can tease you as much as I please like what you are doing to me just now," Yoko dreamed.
"Good luck with that because I need to find someone cute and just my type," I beamed radiantly.
"Whatever Enid. You should go and meet your new roommate. Who knows if she tore up your side of the room from the amount of plushies you have stacked up," it was Yoko's turn to hold up a smug expression.
My eyes grew wide, thinking that Yoko could be right. I rapidly dismissed myself, saying bye to my friend, and headed over to my room. I prayed that Wednesday didn't trash my bedroom as I made my way through the hallway. My legs took me as fast as it could until I reached for the door belonging to my dorm. I opened it right away and saw that nobody was inside. Everything was left the way it was beforehand. I deeply sighed in relief and entered the room, shutting the door behind me.
I noticed that two of my duffel bags have been laying on my bed ever since I dropped them off. I was certain of myself that I'll put away my clothes after I meet Wednesday. Thinking about Wednesday is making me grow impatient because of how much I want to see what she looks like in real life. Those that I have met in Jericho who have the same class as Wednesday have told me what my roommate dresses like. According to them, she wears all black and never seen her wear anything with color. She always has her hair made into two braids with bangs covering her forehead. That's all the description I've heard so far.
I ambled to my desk and pulled out the chair under it. I sat down and drew my phone out of my pocket. To kill time, I decided to finish writing in my vlog about Wednesday and I being roommates since I got distracted by Yoko. I typed out a few sentences and posted a picture of the evidence from my schedule. As it was uploading, I heard a creak coming from the door and someone entering.
My heart began racing in excitement, knowing that my mysterious roommate had arrived. I placed my phone down on the table and spun my body to reveal Wednesday standing from across the room. Those who had a class with Wednesday were right about her appearance. She is wearing dark clothing with two braids resting on her shoulders. Her eyes are so dark and tedious that it makes it look like she's a serial killer. Her expression was nothing but serious and scary. The only thing that threw me off was her height. I thought she would be tall with tattoos and scars all over her body. How can someone so small ever seem deadly?
I got up from my chair and put on my signature grin. I hurried over to Wednesday and stopped just enough to leave a gap between us. Now, I was finally able to start my introduction and get to know the Addams.
"Howdy, new roomie! You probably know my name already from your schedule, but just in case you don't, I'm Enid Sinclair," I introduced myself.
"Looks like I don't need to introduce myself if my name is on your paper," Wednesday pointed out with a dull tone.
