CHAPTER 24

As something clicked in her mind, she poofed herself from there

The women smiled 'To injure his own body to erase the feeling of fear and pain, as I thought he is no ordinary boy'

Her gaze fell to the place where Y/N was. A small chakra crater was formed. She smirked 'Amazing, to think she would infuse chakra and activate those eyes to release herself from the Genjutsu, a prodigy'

Y/N was now seated on a branch separated from Sasuke and Sakura. In a haste, she ran to a totally different place instead of following Sasuke and Sakura "Damn it"

Sasuke ripped the kunai from his leg, blood oozing from it "Uuunh"

"Sasuke kun, are you alri-?" Sasuke covered her loud mouth.

"Shut up" Sasuke uttered before glancing back and forth "And where is Y/N?"

"Didn't she follow us?" Sakura questioned looking around

"Damn it, she got separated. It's not a good time for that" Sasuke muttered to himself worrying for the noirette.

"My chakra is so low that I can't even sense anybody" Y/N said to herself, being exhausted after freeing herself from the genjutsu, hopping off from the branch.

Sasuke's onyx gaze was searching for Y/N which he didn't notice a snake hovering above his head. Sakura tried to warn him but due to his hand, her voice came out muffled

"Sasuke Snake"

While, Y/N's eye widened when she felt something wrapping around her leg. She looked to see two snakes "What the hell?"

She slashed them with her kunai, jumping back a bit wary of any danger. 

A roar came from the right to which the attack came from left making her slightly distracted, the snake's fangs sinking into her left hand, as she bit her lips to muffle her scream.

Y/N now stood fully bloodied, on top of the giant snake. Dead

"Hahaha, you are really interesting, aren't you?" the women smirked 'To slaughter my snake in mere seconds'

Y/N didn't expect the women to follow her. "You know you are an excellent prey but I think you would make a good predator"

"But for now you are a prey, my prey"

Y/N narrowed her eyes, see

Meanwhile, Sasuke was fighting off another giant snake, when his senses alerted, he looked up only to widen his eyes.

Y/N was falling and the tail of a snake was wrapped around her body. Y/N took her long kunai and stabbed it making it unwrap 'Damn it I am falling and I don't have a grip or enough chakra to have a safe landing'

Sasuke jumped and catches her. Y/N raise her brow in surprise and gave him a tired smile "I appreciate"

Y/N noticed somehow Sasuke has managed to defeat the snake but his own condition wasn't good enough

"For shame, letting your guard down! stay on your toes like a good prey should. It makes the chase so much more rewarding for the predator" the women teared the snake's skin open, blood splattering on her face.
