Mike ran over to Gabby and El and embraced them in a huge hug. Gabby noticed Max was kneeling over Billy's dead body, crying. Gabby and El gave her a massive hug.
"I'm sorry, it's okay, it's okay," Gabby reassured her as Max sobbed in their arms.
Eventually, firemen, police, and the military arrived at the mall rushing them all out and taking them to the ambulances outside.
Seeing her father she shrugged off the blanket and ran to him, "Daddy!"
"I told you I would be back my little darling," David said as he hugged her. But something wasn't right.
"Where was Hopper?" Gabby said as she looked around, when she saw the look on her father's face she realized he was dead. Gabby hurt for El because she lost her father.
"No." He just nodded.
THREE MONTHS LATER.
Today is the day.
The day that the Byers and El were moving away. After everything that happened, Joyce decided that it was best to move away from Hawkins to get away from the past and give her kids a fresh start.
Gabby understood what she was getting at but she was losing a sister and one of her best friends on the same day. She was sitting in the living room with Max, Lucas, and Dustin putting stuff in boxes but then Gabby and Lucas started singing Dustin's song.
Turn around. Look at what you see. In her face. The mirror of your dreams. Rhymes that keep their secrets. Will unfold behind the clouds.
"Wait, did we get that verse right?" Gabby asked Dustin with a smirk on her face.
Dustin just stared at the couple with a blank expression on his face. "It's 'unfold behind the clouds?"
"Yeah, but you're butchering it, so could you please stop?" Dustin says to them.
"You don't sound nearly as good as Suzie-poo and Dusty-bun." Max teased and Dustin rolls his eyes at them.
"So then join in, Dusty-bun," Lucas says, blowing him an air kiss.
"Yeah, come on, Dusty-bun," she pleaded, "why don't you join us?"
"You guys are so funny, you should be on Carson," Dustin says flatly.
"Can't we just hear your rendition?" Max asked.
"No."
"Please," Gabby pleaded, "Just one verse?"
"No. No way. It's reserved for Suzie's ears and Suzie's ears alone," Dustin tells them. Lucas looked at Gabby looked at each other and the two started singing again. As the two continued to sing and clap to the beat, Dustin waved his middle finger at them while they kept singing.
"Shut up, you guys!"
"Stop! You guys, please, shut up."
Gabby finally was packing up stuff in one of the bedrooms when El walked in smiling.
"I'm guessing that you and Mike were back together," Gabby asked El, giving her a look. She gave a smiling nod and she wrapped her arms around me.
The two broke apart and she whispered, "I'm going to miss you."
"I'm going to miss you too I wish we could just sneak you into my house and have you live there," Gabby says, as a tear fell down her face as El giggled.
"You know I remember painting you for days." Gabby started as El wiped her face "and then finally meeting you, you were cold, wet, and wearing a big yellow Bennys burger shirt. I didn't think I was meeting my sister for life." El gave a small laugh.
"El, you are going to be ok. You have Joyce, who is gonna take great care of you and you'll have two amazing brothers, and I'm am a phone call away or I'll use Dustin's Cerebro if Mike isn't using it."
"Thank you," El whispered as they hugged one last time.
Everything was now in the truck so it was time to say our goodbyes before the Byers were officially moved. Gabby's eyes were red from crying. Everyone was trying to hold back tears. El pulled Gabby into one last hug before pulling away and placing their wrist next to each other.

"I'll miss you, sister."
"I'll miss you too, sister." She nodded as Max came over to hug her. Gabby looked at Will to see that his eyes were bright red, she wrapped my arms around him and he hugged her back. They broke apart and smiled at each other, "I'll miss you Gabby."
"I'll miss you too Will."
Gabby walked over to Joyce and hugged her as well. She had lost Hopper and Joyce was also like a mom to her, it was sad for Gabby to see her go. She wrapped her arms around her and mumbled, "I love you,"
"I love you too sweetheart," Joyce whispered back as she let go of her.
Gabby walked by Jonathan, giving him a hug and a small smile. "I'll miss you, Johnny."
"I'll miss you too Gabby." He said as they pulled apart.
Jonathan and Will got into the car while El and Joyce got into the U-haul truck. That is when they started driving away. Mike, Dustin, Nancy, Max, Lucas, and Gabby all watched as they drove down the driveway onto the road. Then they were gone.
Gabby wiped the tears off her face then everyone grabbed their bikes. Everyone mounted their bikes Gabby got on the back of Lucas's and they all started on their separate ways.

Whooo that is the end of season three rewatching this episode made me cry again 😭 can't wait to see you guys in season four!!!
