"THEY JUST LEFT!" Lenore slammed her hands on the table and stood up, her chest heaving violently.

"We didn't mean to upset you," Lydia said calmly, "We'll go now."

With that, they took it as a sign to get up and head towards the wide open door, which suddenly closed loudly, leaving the four teenagers to turn back to Lenore, eyes wide with horror as she stared at them with panic.

"No one is leaving," She snarled, "No one is leaving Canaan ever again."

"That's not a comforting thought," Amelie mumbled to herself before turning to Scott, who was trying to open the door, "Come on, Scott, you're a Werewolf."

"I'm trying!" The Alpha grunted as he repeatedly twisted the knob and pulled.

"What the hell is wrong with this place?" Malia whispered.

"Lenore?" Lydia approached Lenore calmly, "Could you unlock the door, please?"

"Now that you're here, you need to stay," Lenore insisted, "Caleb likes you." Caleb is not real— Amelie wanted to scream, but that wouldn't have been a good idea.

"And we like him! But we need to help our town. People are disappearing—" Lydia realized her mistake, "—Uh, leaving. I mean leaving. You could really help us."

"No one can help you. If they want to leave, they're going to leave," Lenore deadpanned, "They'll go, and they'll go, and there won't be anything you can do about it."

A voice from behind them almost made Amelie pee her pants. "Come with me."

Caleb the Ghost stood behind Scott, Amelie and Malia with his hands behind his back politely before he walked back inside and to his room. The three exchanged nervous looks before turning to Lydia, who told them, "Go."

Caleb's room was strange to say the least. A single television sat next to his bed. As Amelie stepped off the two steps in front of the door, she grimaced in disgust when her sneakers hit a layer of water. The room was illuminated by a single window in the corner of the room, which Scott didn't hesitate to try and open, but to no avail.

Amelie turned to the boy, who was pushing a tape into the slot under his television, "Caleb, can you help us find a way out of here?" A video of Caleb himself replaced the static image on the television.

"You have to stay because Mommy said so," He said still facing the television.

The Anchor shook her head, "No, we can't stay. We have to go home."

"This is home," Caleb repeated, turning to Amelie for a second, his voice sounding Lenore's for just a second that Amelie's spine stiffened. "This is home."

The door slammed shut. The three teenagers glanced at each other with horror and Amelie ran to the door to try and open it, but it was sealed shut. Amelie's shoulders dropped with desperation when it rattled in its place.

"Scott? Come here for a sec," She heard Malia whisper, "Look at the date."

The Anchor walked up to the duo, glancing at the date written on the bottom of the video. "That's what I've been trying to tell you guys. He's a ghost, and you idiots wouldn't listen to me!"

As soon as she'd uttered those words, the sound of water flooded the room. The trio looked around them to find water leaking out of every corner in the room, flowing down the walls like a waterfall. Amelie couldn't believe her eyes.

"Am I having another hallucination?" Malia breathed out.

"If you are, I'm having the same one," Scott said back.
