Wedding chapter pt.2~

Start from the beginning

"Now. Let's get you in that dress, shall we?" I nodded my head, and we walked over to my beautiful gown. It's literally the dress of my dreams. It's a mermaid silhouette, with a long train of mesh and fluff... it's so beautiful.

I grin widely at Julia, and she nods her head towards the dress, and I immediately run over to it, giggling like a little girl while she puts the dress on me, careful not to mess up my hair and makeup.

I look up at myself in the mirror and I could feel the tears gathering in my eyes... I felt so unbelievably beautiful. This was my day. This was my time to be happy and I was going to take it with everything left in me.

I inhaled and exhaled strongly, trying to release some of the built-up anxiety. It worked a little, but I was still unbelievably nervous. I shook my hands and looked at myself one more time in the mirror, silently telling myself that I can do this.

I smiled at myself and turned around, still looking at the mirror, to see how I looked before nodding my head and leaving the room.

I felt Julia wrap her arm around mine and the ease that put my mind into was enough for me to know that I can do this. She has my back no matter what happens.

I can hear the music start playing and the curtains in front of me are closed, blocking the view of me from everyone in the room. Julia squeezed my hand and nodded stiffly at the girl next to us and she spoke softly into her earpiece, telling the girls on the other side to open the curtain.

The curtain opened and I just stood there, trying to tell myself to put one foot forward while everyone began to stand and turn to me. The gasps around the room could be heard from miles away. There were hundreds of "oh my," "she is gorgeous," and "how Beautiful's."

Kylo stood at the altar, looking at me like he has just seen me for the first time in his entire life. I could see the love in his eyes for me, and that pushed me to put my right foot in front of the other. I walked down the aisle with Julia's arm in mine and she squeezed my hand, telling me she's still here.

The tears were falling down Kylo's face, in turn making me trying not to release my own. All of the arguments and fighting that we have had over this wedding was all worth it because I now get to be the person, I was meant to be... Clara Miller.

I was finally to the foot of the alter and Julia smiled at me before letting me go, allowing Kylo to help me up onto the stage. He squeezed my hand and pulled it towards his lips, kissing it softly before rubbing the back of his thumb on the tops of my fingers.

"We are gathered here today to watch the becoming of two people who are in love. Kylo Miller and Clara Jones." When he said our names, I felt Kylo's grip tighten on my hand. I looked up at him and smiled in reassurance. He slowly relaxed and smiled back at me.

"Do you Kylo Miller, take Clara to be your lawfully wedded wife, to live in together in matrimony, to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?"

"I do." He said without hesitation.

"And do you Clara Jones, take Kylo to be your lawfully wedded husband, to live together in matrimony, to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?" I paused. I don't know why I did, but I did.
