Tasked with the management of the First Heaven and the Virtues, Sidriel was deemed to be desperately in need of a vacation by Archangel Gabriel. Lagging performance was a clear sign of burnout; it was actually a miracle that Sidriel hadn't collapsed dead sooner. Lamechial's role in Heaven is kept somewhat guarded. He is known as the Truthseeker, but to the average angel, little is known about his official duties. Many wonder why he was given the freedom to transverse the mortal realm as he wishes.
