141: Moonlight madness.

"I.. know... what happened to you, Liy."

Liy blinked, looking back over to Bottle with confusion. She tilted her head, analysing her words inside her head. "What?? Is this some sort of joke? It's not funny. How would you even know that?" Liys immediate response was filled with hostility, which Bottle understood.

"When.. I was imprisoned with X. They told me everything.." Bottle explained softly. "They told me .. The plans that Four had.. and Two. Basically.. the whole story. I.. uh, I'm sorry. I-Its kind of heavy, are you sure you want to know?" She checked, glancing sideways to where Liy was.

Liy laughed in disbelief, putting her hand on her lap before looking away. DID she... want to know that..? She had been begging for answers so much.. now that she actually had them just at the tips of her fingers did she ...REALLY want to know them?
She couldn't believe it, shaking her head. "What??" She half laughed due to her awe. "Are.. you serious?" She faltered.

"..I..am." Bottles hands trailed to her sides, laying there limply. "I .. didn't know if I should tell you. But.. you seem to be so bothered about it. Do..you want to know?"

Liy didn't know. She stared dead straight at the ground, trying to think. She was afraid of the truth, a lump in her throat. ".. I.. I don't know. Is.. it bad?"

Bottle was quiet.

"...Yeah.." she replied honestly.

Liy wasn't sure... did she really want this? She had been dying to know for so long.. yet now when it was happening it almost felt like she didn't..like she wanted to change her mind. What if it changed everything? She tried to guess what it could be, but her mind drew a blank.. what could have been so awful, so terrible.. that it was most likely removed from her memory? Or she forgot it herself.. but from her visions, it didn't seem too pleasant.

"..Fine.. tell me." Liy permitted, shoving the stick she was holding into the dirt. "J-Just, not the details. I don't wanna know everything..just.. why.."

"Why what?"

"Why I'm LIKE this!" She exclaimed instantly, but quietly. "Why I'm.. why I changed my mind. Why I wanted to kill and serve Two so badly..why I was outright crazy! I need to know.. Bottle. Please.. just tell me why I'm LIKE this.." she turned to her, pleading her with her eyes. "I ..I ..I just want to know. I want to understand myself ..I don't feel like I know me.." she breathed, pain present in her voice.

Bottle analysed her for a moment, blinking. She stared right back into her begging eyes, able to see just how much she wanted this.. just how much she wanted to know. Bottle drew in a breath of air, knowing that what she was going to say would change things for Liy.. likely forever.

"Four wanted to.. make the show more entertaining.. " she began, drawing out her words "Soooo... agreed with Two to.. create a ... a clone of,  ..of Liy. A more.. aggressive version, one that would strike interest in the show. Two didn't.. tell Four at the time but.. they played him, and actually used that clone for the war." Bottle exhaled heavily as she said this, feeling the weight of her own words set themselves on the pair. Liy didn't look away, it was almost like she couldn't.

"..I... " she waited a moment, her lip quivering as no words seemed to come out.

"..I..I.. I'm.. a.." she couldn't believe it.

"N..No. There's no way I-..I'm a clone. I'm LIY! That's my name, I have memories of being IN the show! That doesn't make any sense, Bottle. X was obviously lying to you." She spat, refusing to believe it... mostly because she was scared to.

"I.. wouldn't lie to you, X was telling the truth." Bottle mumbled gently to her, knowing this was hard to swallow. "Of course you have all the memories.. you're a. .. clone. You have everything Liy did, just.. you know." Bottle watched in surprise as Liy stood up, laughing and shaking her head.
