Love Sick?

" Will u be fine on your own?"

Mew asked me after the party. Amanda was no where to be seen and Mew seemed to notice that too. He looked uneasy but still pretended to be fine.

" I will try. But it's scary outside hehe"

Mew smiled. His smile is very rare to find and I'm lucky to have it tonight.

" Well, then I'll give u a chauffer to drive u home as I wait for Amanda"

I felt my heart piercing with the thought of Mew waiting for Amanda who is actually having a moment with Mew's bestfriend. I felt bad for him!

His phone suddenly vibrated so he excused himself. I was looking around just to meet Kisher's eyes glittering with happiness, admiring me and Mew. I winked at her and she sent an invisible kiss in the air. I grabbed it! She laughed

"Are u flirting with my secretary?"

A husky voice interrupted and I quickly looked down. I felt blushing

"Well, I love madam Kisher!"

I told him. He just hummed a response with a smirk. I almost died on the spot!

"My fiance already left so... I'll ride u!"

I immediately looked up at his face. It down on me to realize he's abit drunk!

"Mew are u drunk?"

"How dare u call me by my name?"

"I'm sorry boss. I think I should drive u home instead. Didn't know u're drunk!"

" Do I look drunk to u? What made u think like that? Am I stammering? "

I sighed. He's pretending again. I don't care if he's half drunk, my only wish is to drive him home safely and sound.

We were already in Mew's car. I'm lucky to know driving since highschool. I always loved driving and I believe one day I'll buy a fancy car like Mew's. I'll buy one for my aunt too. I miss her!

"U really have trust issues!"
Mew complained as I started the gas

"Why? B'se I couldn't trust you?"

"Don't u trust me?"

I smiled. I can't believe Mew is being soft with me today. I feel like heaven

"I do trust u very much! But not with ur safety when alittle drunk like this"

" U've never seen me drunk before huh! I do drink quite often Gulf..."

I frowned. I didn't know that.

" Why drinking that much? "

" B'se I'm confused! I don't know if I should marry Amanda or not!"

I was startled. What is he talking about?

" I thought u loved her! "

" I do Gulf! I love her! But I don't understand her! Sometimes she's acting weird, sometimes she's normal"

I breathed out. I thought Mew was an introvert like what Kisher told me earlier. But he actually seems troubled by it that he can't keep it all to himself

" My mom insists on my marriage with Amanda but, some part of me wants to wait until when I'm ready! "

" Then u should wait! "

I told him. He looked at me briefly.

" Is that what u did? Waited for me? "

I smiled, he's actually getting at me. Having a drunk Mew is much better than the conscious one. His drunken side is more wiser and thoughtful.

"Yes! I'm still waiting for u Mew. My heart is strong like a rock when it comes to people I love. U should know"

We were quiet for sometime. Mew seemed far in thought and I wish I could help him think. But he seems to keep alot of things just for himself. It started raining cats and dogs outside!

"Why does my nong think u're meant for me?"

"I might not be able to give u a strong reason unlike when it comes from Thani herself. But I deserve u Mew. I deserve to love u and take care of u"

" What makes u think like that?"

I just shrugged while smiling. Mew pressed his remote and the gates opened automatically. I parked the car inside and none of us got out of the car.

"Do u have any umbrella in here?"

Mew shook his head gently with his eyes closed. His head leaned back to the seat as if trying to catch some sleep

"U can't sleep in here. Let's get inside"

"Let's wait until the rain is over..."

I nodded hesitantly. I wasn't sure of spending the night in my hotel tonight b'se it's nearly 1a.m. I had to inform Thanya so she isn't all worried of me.

"What will u do if I end up marrying Amanda? Will u quit ur job and leave?"

I remained silent. His questions really catch me off guard tonight.

"I dunno what I'm gonna do. I haven't yet imagined u marrying Amanda since u called off the engagement..."

He smiled, his eyes still closed. I breathed out heavily then lean my head to the seat. It was raining heavily

"Savage! U are so competitive Gulf..."
Mew spoke while looking at me. His dark eyes scanned my face for a while and I swear, I could feel burning flames all over my face. Am I blushing?

"Did my nong do your makeup?"

I nodded. Mew smiled gently before looking away.

"Pretty!"

He spoke. I felt my heart pumping on my throat and my breath hitched. Mew literally admired me for the first time!

There was no any sign for the rain to stop so we decided to move out quickly. I wonder there are no servants around.

Our clothes were drenched as we got inside. The living room was so freakin beautiful with the hanging chandeliers. Most of his furnitures were black like those in his office. With no doubt, black must be his favorite color! Dominance!

"U gotta change before u catch cold!"
I smiled. Didn't know he can be caring

"I'm good, thanks. I'll have to get going now so long as u're home safe..." I lied

" U ain't goin anywhere Gulf! Definitely not with this rain at this late hour! "

I looked down shyly.

" Take me to my room!" He ordered

We climbed the stairs and oh hail marry! His master bedroom looked very luxurious with the king-sized bed

" I've plenty of guest rooms but I would suggest u use my master bedroom!"

My eyes popped out and jaw dropped

" Wh-what?"

Mew was just staring at me blankly.
