"Who that?" Omega asked.

"Former senator of kamino" chuchi said.

"She was part of the defence finance committee before being removed from office" senator organa said.

Then we got to meet with her when we had a chance.

"Senator burtoni. Thank you for coming" chuchi said.

"Are armed gaurds really nessasary" burtoni said.

"There is a matter I must discuss with you."

"Then speak"

"Tell me about the missing senate appropriations funds that we're earmarked for operation on kamino. Funding for the cloning facilities has been siphoned off over the past year. You had to have known"

"Of course I did" she said.

"Where did the money go? Who diverted the funds?"

"You're a fool to bring me here. Do you know what happens when you dig around where you shouldn't"

"Your people deserve to—"

"My people are gone. The few remaining Kaminoans scattered throughout the galaxy are of no importance to me, and therefore not my concern."

I felt my blood boil "how can you not care about what happed on kamino?" I asked.

"Why do you care?" Burtoni asked me.

"Because my mom was taken to kamino as a child and i'm a clone too it was our home. We we're there." Omega spoke "we saw the empire destroy everything and we're angry. What they did it's not right"

"Omega shh" i wispered.

Then burtoni gave it some thought "I suspected an attack was imminent lama su was arrogant too confident his clones were a necessity to the empire. But none of us are"

"Did admiral rampart divert the funds?" Chuchi asked.

"You already know the answer but yes"

"You must testify to that in front of the senate tomorrow. He cannot continue to get away with what he's done"

"Rampart is a mere cog in the machine. And my word won't do you any good. You need concrete proof"

"I need both and I'm running out of time."

Later on the senator was ready for a meeting while omega and I waited for the guys. I was thinking about my past and the lies.

"You all right mom?" Omega asked me.

I looked at her and smiled "I always wondered about what happened to me, how did I get on kamino. What really happened. After a while I realized I don't care anymore. My past doesn't matter. What matters now is my future."

"I think the flute would be amazing because I have a wonderful mother" she went up and hugged me as I hugged back. We let go when we heard a speeder approaching.

It was rex and echo "get this to senator chuchi hurry" Rex said

"Omega go with them" then I ran to the room where senator organa was and gave him the proof as organa shows it to them. Showing them what happened. Then all the sudden the emperor shows up and he was arrested. It was only one step but worth it.

Later we go back to the hid out and gathered up.

"Palpatine was one step ahead of us during the war, and he's still serveral steps ahead of us.we played it right into his hands." Rex said.

"I don't understand" said omega "we did the right thing we told the truth"

"And he twisted it to his advantage" i said.

"The emperor wanted us to implicate rampart to get what he was after all along senate approval for his stormtrooper program" Rex explains.

"The fate of all clones is now sealed because of us" echo said. "What's gonna happen to them?"

"I don't know" chuchi said frowning "but I will keep fighting for the clones. You all deserve the same rights as every citizen. I won't give up"

"If you need anything REX just say the word. Senator " hunter said as they leave and then he walks up to echo "wherever you end up remember what I said" then get omega to follow him.I was confused on what's going on.

"Don't get into trouble without us" wrecker said leaving

"Without us?" I asked.

"Best of luck echo" tech said following them.

I was confused on what was going on "luck with what?" I asked echo.

He looks at me "im going with Rex. The clones need our help now more than ever" he walks up to me "I can't turn my back on them"

I could feel myself about to cry "you— you can't leave. We're— we're a squad."

"Phoenix, this is something I have to do. I'm going where I'm needed"

"But we need you too"

He puts down his helmet to put his hand on my check  "it's not forever. I'll be back."I noded as he pulls me in for a kiss and I kissed back then I let go of him with tears in my eyes "keep an eye on them"

"I love you" I said to him.

"I love you too"

I went to the ship before looking back at him then head to the ship and sat in a corner and cried.
