The music started and that was their signal, the dancers swayed their hips and rolled their bodies with the rythm.

There's a certain group of Na'vis that can't take their eyes off Y/N while she sways her body flawlessly. They are taking in her features, her purple skin shining against the moonlight, her hair down adorned with pearls, flowers and beads. She truly was a sight for sore eyes, a kind soul and warrior heart that could make you weak on your knees.

The music came to a stop and the dancers were displayed gracefully around the campfire, they all bowed after hearing the clapping of the people and left. Y/N ran to the group with a big smile "Did you guys like it?" She asked to the whole group, everyone gave their compliments and she gladly accepted everything.

The food was delicious, more dances where everyone could join, wonderful traditions. The night just began and everything was splendid.

The group of kids were talking among themselves when something got their eyes, they saw their parents dancing. "Lo'ak what is your dad doing?" Y/N asked while lightly laughing. Jake was trying to follow Neytiri on the dance but couldn't keep up so he looked really funny from afar. Lo'ak and Kiri covered their eyes, clearly embarrassed while everyone else started laughing at the scene unfold.

Atohi came up to the group with Diwali to his side. "Guys, wanna go to the lake?" Atohi asked the group, everyone nodded and followed the purple Na'vis out of the celebration and off to the lake.

Y/N POV–

I was talking with Kiri and Tsireya all the way to the lake, we got along really fast and they were really nice. When we got to the lake I took in the beautiful view as always. Bioluminescent water and plants all around. Coming here always helped me clear my mind. My thoughts got interrupted when I heard a loud war cry, I looked to my side and see Diwali jumping in to the lake, splashing water everywhere. Everyone joined him while yelling and laughing and shortly I did too.

While me and Kiri were talking about the lake, someone splashed water at us. The culprits were Rotxo and Lo'ak. We started laughing and chasing them around the lake "We're coming to get you!" Kiri said while chasing her brother. I did a short jump to catch up with Rotxo and pushed him into the water. I laughed and soon he joined me too.

I looked over to Kiri to see she was play fighting with Lo'ak. I walked up to the rest of the group with Rotxo. "What do we have for training tomorrow?" Neteyam asked while looking at me, I thought about it for a moment. "I think we need to do riding training and afterwards we can play around or explore" I said while nodding to myself.

"Perfect, we have a plan for tomorrow" Ao'nung said with a smirk while looking at me, I could've sworn I've felt him staring at me all day. "We should get back to the village, we need energy for tomorrow" I said and everyone followed back to the village. The celebration was still pretty much alive but we decided to call it a night.

Timeskip to the morning

Everyone started waking up and in little time, the village came to life. Talking could be heard, weapons were being sharpened and gryphons roared every now and then. After we ate fruit for energy, the group of teenagers made their way to the forest where their gryphons rested peacefully.

No one's POV–

"Alright, who would like to go first?" Y/N asked as she turned around. Neteyam took steps forward and lightly chuckled. Y/N nodded and grabbed his arm to guide him to his gryphon. He got on the gryphon and looked at Y/N for instructions.

"You must stay calm, at first it won't like having a rider and will try to get you off, you can't give in" Y/N said while grabbing Neteyam's hands and placing them on the fur of the gryphon. She then grabbed one of his legs and placed it correctly next to the gryphon. "Now, do tsaheylu with it" She said while backing away.

Neteyam POV–

Getting on was easy, listening to the instructions was easy, but now that I actually had to do this I was slightly panicking. I've already had enough with taming and Ikran, I don't want this one to try and kill me too.

I let out a deep breath as I grabbed my queue and gently made tsaheylu with the creature, the pink tendrils connecting with the creature. Almost immediately the gryphon started roaring and jumping around, trying to get me off. I stood my ground and held onto it's fur the best I could, it didn't stop moving around trying to get me off it's back but I couldn't give in so easily. Eventually it stopped moving and I let out a sigh of relief. I look at Y/N and I see her smiling at my success.

Ao'nung POV–

"Pfft, seems easy enough, step aside" I said while smirking and walking towards my gryphon. Y/N grabbed my arm and walked with me "They can be very aggressive, you must stay strong" she said and I simply nodded knowingly while getting on the back of my gryphon.

It seemed easy, I want to impress this girl so this creature better behave itself. I grabbed my queue and made tsaheylu with the creature. It started jumping and kicking it's feet into the air to get me off it's back. I spoke too soon, it was way too strong. With a swift movement I got sent flying into a tree, smacking my face against it's hard trunk.

I heard everyone give away a wave of Ohhh's, like it was more painful for them than me, I fell to the ground and let out a heavy sigh, It hurts so much.

I felt someone grab my head, I open my eyes and meet Y/N's face while she places my head in her thighs. I could feel my cheeks burning.

"So silly.. let me take care of it for you" she said softly while grabbing the little bag that rested on her hip and taking out herbs and weird blue gel. She spread the gel gently in my nose and other bruises, it burned but I wanted to seem cool in front of her, but it didn't really matter because I just hit face first against a tree trying to tame that gryphon.

Once she was done with my bruises, she caressed my hair softly and smiled at me "Be more careful next time" She said, carefully removing my head from her thighs and standing up.

Oh how I want to be hers.
