"You wanna see what it's really like in jail? I can arrange that,"
"That would be a no," she mumbled, chuckling softly.
"That's what I thought," she chuckled also, sitting against the hot tub edge, "anything actually going on?"
"No," she chuckled.
"No boys?"
"Mom!" She squeaked, chuckling a little bit again.
"What? Just checking?" Hailey laughed, "Just because I love you,"
"Mhm. I guess so," she laughed as well.
"You know, I wouldn't be opposed to you actually dating,"
"Dad would eat him alive. Whoever he was." Maddy joked, sipping on her come.
"Dad is also in Bolivia, Maddy. Just you and I,"
"Do not even go there," Maddy scoffed with a laugh following, "You talk to dad about everything under the sun and you're telling me that you wouldn't tell him if his only daughter got into a relationship,"
"I might. But what can he do from there,"
"Mom you're so confusing," she laughed again, setting her drink on the edge, "I don't know. There are no guys now,"
"Well find one," she chuckled, jokingly pushing her. "I'm kidding,"
They talked a little bit more and decided to do some of the water slides before they headed back to the hotel to FaceTime Jay.
"Hey, you 2,"
"Hey dad," Maddy smiled a little.
"Having fun?" He asked, setting up the phone so he didn't have to hold it.
"Yeah, we're having a great time," Hailey nodded, doing the same as Jay.
"We went to this water park kind of thing today, the beach yesterday. It is so hard not to miss school right now," Maddy chuckled, being pushed off the bed by Hailey. "Mom!" Maddy laughed, getting up and whacking Hailey with a pillow.
"You are in for it now!" Hailey chuckled, grabbing another pillow and starting a pillow fight.
Jay started screen-recording the whole thing, laughing as Hailey and Maddy whacked each other with pillows.
He missed them so much and he was counting down the days until he could be home with them again.
86 days left, 2064 hours to go.
"I gotta go you too, keep having fun and keep sending pictures,"
"Okay, we love you," Hailey chuckled, both of them flopping on the bed with a laugh.
"Love you, dad," Maddy smiled, "See you in 86 days,"
"2064 hours to go baby bug,"
Maddy smiled and nodded, watching as Jay's face left the screen.
"Well. What now?" Hailey asked, looking at her daughter as she set the phone down.
