CHAPTER 20: Caught

"You good?"

"Y-yeah... Can I tell you something..."

"Anything you want"

"I- I thought I saw nickel here"

My eyes widen, she saw nickel!

"Where!?"

"It was two days ago, I thought I saw him in the crowd. He was talking to that blue girl"

She pointed to a girl with a teardrop shape hoodie with a blue skirt.

"I don't know my mind was tricking me, but I couldn't really sleep after that. I don't want him to hurt us again..."

Right... She doesn't know we made up.

"Nickel you say?"

"Yeah...what about him?"

"Well-"

"We're back"

Knife and baseball appeared with lightbulb next to them.

"That was quick!"

"It wasn't hard to find her, she was glowing. LITERALLY. So can we go now"

I nodded and we followed them to the yellow tree forest.

I stood next to other taco as we followed the final four deeper in the forest.

No one knew where we are, not even other taco.

So I took the chance to ask her about what she said.

"Hey, what did you mean when you said "I don't want to be treated like this again"?"

"You heard that!"

"Ye-yeah..."

"Well when we were all still in bfb, I was in a team with other girls. I died in the first challenge and Four chose to create the challenge using the revived contestants.
They placed us in jaw breakers where the other teams have to lick us out!

Everyone else was freed, except me...
My whole team thought I had abandoned them..."

"O-oh, I'm so sorry..."

"It's ok, it was years ago, they all forgave me"

I smiled and we continue walking behind the final four.

We continue to walk until Knife stopped in his tracks.

"What's wrong?"

Other taco and I caught up to the four.

"Do you hear that?"

I got closer and heard a rustling noise coming from a bush.
Mumbling shortly followed.

"Stupid branch, breaks after I get comfortable"

A British Voice... That voice sounds familiar.

"Nic-"

A figure appeared out of the bush...
Dirty blonde hair, scar on the left side of the face. Red earrings...

Oh god.

"Um..."

Taco... It was really her...

We all stared at her with wide eyes. She was here...

Why was she here?!!!???

"Hey..."

"THERE YOU ARE!!"

Other taco ran passed us and hugged the identical girl.

"I was wondering where you were!! Why are you in a forest?"

"A BETTER QUESTION!!! WHY IS SHE HERE!!"

"I knew it!! I thought I heard your voice behind that building!!"

"Ugggghh... Fine you caught me, I've been staying with the bfb cast"

I don't get it... Mic said she was missing, so why was she here?

Soon, another rustling sound appear.
It was getting closer.

"Taco! Where are you!"

Another voice... Another familiar voice...
Is it really...

"Does anyone else think that sounds familiar, or is it just me?"

"No it's not just you lightbulb, it's familiar to me too"

I felt something grab my arm, I looked over and saw suitcase clinging on.

"You don't think it's really him... I don't want it to be him"

"I'm pretty sure it's another duplicate like bomb and taco"

Soon the rustle stopped.

It was just silence.

Something hit the ground.

It was a rock, and it hit the back of Taco's head.

She pushed other taco off and turned around.

"WHAT IN THE BLOODY HELL YOU BASTARD!!"

A burst of laughter rang from the forest.

Then he appeared.

I wanted to hug him, I felt like i needed to cry.
I was so worried... After so long, he appears here.

"N-nickel..."

He didn't hear, he just kept laughing in Taco's face.

"I couldn't resist myself! It was just a good moment"

"You think this is a good moment!!!"

Taco pointed over to us.

"Duh..."

"NICKEL!!"

Baseball ran past all of us, and went for a hug.

"Oh! Hey BB"

Nickel patted his back, he clearly wasn't expecting this.

Baseball let go of the hug but kept his hands on nickels shoulders.

"Where were you!! I've been so worried"

Nickel didn't respond. Instead he just moved baseball's hands off of him.

"What with your attitude! Your usually a sweet, dumb, innocent, doesn't know sarcasm person!"

What. Did other taco really say that?
There's no way he's like that.

"Yeah totally, that's definitely my personality"

"WAS THAT SARCASM!!"

"what do you think, Taco"

"THIS IS BULLSHIT, I'M BRINGING YOU BACK TO MEPHONE!! EVERYTHING AT INANIMATE INSANITY HAS BEEN SHIT AFTER YOU WENT MISSING!! so your coming back with us!"
