As Treasure inhaled and exhaled the smoke, she hummed as a thank you. Ariana nodded enjoying the last of her wood before putting it out in her ashtray.

"I missed us," Treasure admitted. Treasure was always there for Ariana whenever she needed her, even though she would put distance between them.

She mostly wanted to be satisfied sexually, but occasionally she yearned for Treasure's company.

Treasure sometimes fantasized about them being together even though she was aware that she was merely a sexual partner for the younger woman.

It was only natural for her to feel an emotional connection to Ariana after all the sex and general care she showed her.

"I wasn't gone that long", Ari proclaimed as she started to gather her belongings. She was referring to when she was out of the city for 2 weeks for a job.

Even though it was only 2 weeks, Treasure was so used to their every-other-day routine of either quickies or long fucks it felt like forever for her.

"Well, maybe next time we can go together." Treasure suggested looking away from the woman as Ari started to put her clothes on.

She was slightly nervous about Ariana's response. She knew how rude Ari could come off unintentionally and she didn't want to be on the receiving end of that.

Treasure really liked Ariana but she had also learned how cold and distant the woman was so she knew not to get her hopes up.

Despite this, Treasure still wanted to give Ariana a chance and hoped that they could develop a deeper connection. She decided to approach the situation with an open mind and see where things would go.

"Treasure-" Ari started but was interrupted by Treasure. "I know I know, your trips are always business, and business is private."

"I just want us to eventually be more."Ari's eyes narrowed as she looked down at Treasure. It had been about a year since they started fucking around and Ari never saw something like this coming.

She was very knowledgeable in the field of fuck buddies and most of the time some signs came with conversations like this.

In the same way that they might try to spend the night, leave a toothbrush, or wear your clothes, Treasure hadn't shown any of these.

Which made Ariana sure she had found the most ideal sex partner but she could have been wrong.

Because Ari had been clear about the nature of their relationship and that it was never going to be more, she didn't understand this.

Must have been what her brother was talking about.

He probably spoke this up.

She thought rubbing her temple slightly. She was already a lil too high to be having this conversation especially since it'd end with her cutting Treasure off, unfortunately.

With her lifestyle, she'd never be able to afford relationships and such. The main reason is that she would just be putting them in the crossfire.

The few people she did have a constant relationship with knew of her lifestyle and how to protect themselves from it.

Making a note to address this later she decided to leave it for future Ariana to deal with.

As she grabbed her purse, she planted a kiss on the girl's cheek before saying, "I'll call you later, okay?"

Especially since this would be her last time at Treasure's house. As disappointing as it is she knew she'd have to stop fucking her.

That would be wrong of her to lead the girl on knowing she'd never want to be more with her. Even as an assassin she still had some morals.
