Suga chuckled darkly, stepping back, twirling the gun in his hand. "Not yet," he murmured. "I want to enjoy this a little longer."

He turned to his men. "Bring the tools."

The bound man’s breath stuttered. His entire body shook uncontrollably as one of the henchmen disappeared into the shadows and returned moments later, carrying a sleek black case.

Suga’s eyes gleamed as he opened it, revealing a neatly arranged set of knives, pliers, and other instruments of pain.

"Since you won’t confess," Suga said smoothly, selecting a sharp blade and turning it in his hands, "let’s see how much pain you can take before you finally break."

The captive’s screams echoed long before the gunshot finally silenced them.

The bound man trembled, his breath hitching as he struggled against the iron chains digging into his skin. His wrists burned from the tight restraints, the chair beneath him creaking as he fought in vain. His voice wavered, thick with desperation.

"N-No, sir… Please… let me go…"

A slow, menacing chuckle echoed through the dimly lit room. The sound alone sent shivers down his spine.

Suga stood before him, his black hair falling slightly over his sharp, cold eyes. His presence alone was suffocating, an unspoken warning of the fate that awaited the man in chains.

"And what makes you think," Suga's voice was calm, eerily controlled, "that you deserve to be let go, you pathetic fucker?"

His words hit like a whip, filled with nothing but venom and disgust. He took a step closer, the heels of his polished shoes clicking against the cold floor.

"You betrayed me," Suga continued, his voice dropping into a deadly whisper. "And now, you think begging will erase that?"

The bound man shook his head frantically, sweat dripping from his forehead. "I—I didn’t mean to! Please, give me one last chance! I swear I won’t—"

Suga let out a low hum, feigning contemplation. Then, without warning, he turned to one of his men, who stood silently by his side, watching the scene unfold.

"Do we give last chances?" Suga asked lazily.

The henchman smirked, shaking his head. "No, boss. That word doesn’t exist in our dictionary."

Suga clicked his tongue in amusement, before his gaze snapped back to the man in chains.

"You heard him," he murmured, a cruel smirk playing on his lips.

The tied man choked on his breath, his chest rising and falling rapidly. "Sir, please!" His voice broke. "I—I have a family! My wife—my children… please don’t do this!"

Suga’s smirk disappeared. His expression turned blank, void of any emotion. He tilted his head slightly, his fingers tightening around the gun in his hand.

"You should’ve thought about them before stabbing me in the back."

The air grew heavy with those words. The bound man’s face crumpled as realization set in—there would be no mercy.

Suga’s voice darkened. "Because of you, my mission failed." His grip on the gun tightened. "You cost me time, money, and lives."

He took a step forward, pressing the barrel of the gun against the man’s forehead. The cold metal sent a violent shudder through his body.

"And yet, you dare to ask me to let you live?"

The bound man opened his mouth to beg again, but before the words could leave his lips—

Bang!

The gunshot echoed like a death knell, bouncing off the walls of the silent room. The man’s body jerked before slumping forward, blood splattering onto the floor beneath him.

The chair tipped over, crashing onto the ground as lifeless eyes stared into nothingness.

Suga let out a slow exhale, lowering his gun before holstering it. He turned to his men, his tone devoid of care.

"Clean up the mess."

One of his henchmen nodded and immediately moved to dispose of the body.

Suga cast one last glance at the corpse before turning on his heel and walking out of the room.

The world they lived in was cold, cruel, and unforgiving. And Suga?

He was colder than death itself.
