I nod "wrecker with hunter" I ordered. As tech omega and I went back to the ship.

Tech starts searching for some data "this data's highly encrypted, even within the ships own system."

"Start here.This is used to extract an manipulate a host genetic material" omega said pointing at a machine.

"You are familiar with this type of cloning?" I asked.

"Not exactly she said "I heard rumours of other kaminoan experiments, but nala se kept that data away from me. I think whatever they were doing was happening off world."

"Look at this" tech said "these appear to be designs using the creatures genetic material for modified armour plating. That must be why it was unaffected by our blaster fire."

"Then how do we stop it" I asked.

"Uncertain. However this confirms that the species feeds on energy l, which propels rapid growth"

"You mean it'll get even bigger"
Omega asked.

I looked at her "yes much bigger"

Tech starts to comm "hunter the creator is the same species arhat attacked corusant during the war you must not let it get near the bower grid, or it will once exponentially in size"

"Too late"

"They're not gonna get that thing away with the marauder" omega said

"Tech, phoenix omega you've got imperials unbound get out of there" hunter said

"On our way" I said turning to tech "tech lets go"

"Not yet I am not finishing transferring all the data" he said. The we could feel the ship rumble.

"Let's go" I shouted before we ran out before the explosion. We find a nearest spot before I grabbed omega and tech pulls me to the spot protecting us.

Once the explosion was over we all looked at each other knowing we're okay before going to a clearer spot.

"Hunter we are clear of the vessel and heading to the landing zone"
Tech said

"Copy that"

We saw the ship as we got in while being fired before we got rid of them.

"The crashed vessel was part of an imperial cloning operation" tech said.

"the empire cloned a zilo beast?" Hunter asked.

"Yes and no the directive came straight from the supreme chancellor before he became emperor"

"What's he want with it?" Wrecker asked.

"The creatures genetic material has the potential to be weaponized in the hands of the right scientist"

"Where we're they taking the creature?" I asked.

"Unknown" tech said. "The ship did not have a destination logged there is far more than to this than we realized from what I have gathered I suspect the empire did not destroy the cities in kamino to end cloning they merely wanted to control it."

I walked away from them for a bit before stopping to face them "send the data to echo and rex. See what they can find out" I said before heading to the cockpit to clear my head.

I was alone for a few minutes when I heard footsteps I turned to see tech walking up to me.

"Hey"

"Hey. Look phoenix I am sorry-"

"No! I'm the one who should be sorry." I said standing up "You're right about me I am afraid of loosing people I care about. I've been through so much. Everything going wrong. Loosing crosshair, Trying to figure out who I am, being a mom, I did nothing but think about myself. I just want something to go right just once just..."

I didn't finish with tech putting his hand on my face not saying a word.I feel comfort around him I do with all of them but he always makes sure everything is okay. If I was okay.

We looked at each others eye's before putting our forehead on each others while closing our eyes embracing this moment.
