"Y/n!" Neteyam was hot on her tail as he was running after her.

not a thought in Y/n's mind except getting to her father. her dad was her inspiration, her protector, her role model.

Y/n saw the pod and ran faster. she placed her hand on her bump to prevent anything from getting to it as she ran.

the entrance was covered, her mother clearly telling everyone that the family would like some privacy.

Y/n pulled back the cloth and took in the sight. Ronal had her hands hovering over Tonowari body while Tsireya, Ao'nung and Ìhik were in there behind Ronal.

Y/n gasped and walked forward. she looked down at her father and saw that he was asleep, or she thought so.

Ronal looked up and beckoned her over to her side. "what happened?" Y/n rushes over.

"we don't know yet." Ronal sighed. "he was doing his duties and then he just collapsed." she informed her.

Y/n grabbed a couple of things and leaned towards Tonowaris face. she pricked his face and expected him to wake up, but he didn't.

she looked down at his stomach and saw it going up and down, meaning that he was still breathing.

"why isn't he waking up?" she asked Ronal.

"i don't know."

Y/n turned around and looked at Tsireya. "get Jakesully and Neytiri."

Tsireya nodded her head and walked out. she came face to face with Neteyam as she walked out.

Neteyam saw Tsireya and grabbed her shoulders. "is everything alright?" he asked her.

"i'm not sure myself." she frowned. "but i have to get your parents."

"my parents? why?"

"Y/n told me to get them."

Neteyam sighed and let her go. Tsireya quickly ran past him and to the Sullys marui. Neteyam looked at the cloth covering the entrance and debated whether he should go in or not.

ultimately, he decided to stay outside. instead he would wait for his parents to walk in.

only a couple of seconds later, Jake and Neytiri were running with Tsireya to the pod and stopped in front of Neteyam.

"how does he look?" Jake asked his son.

Neteyam only shook his head. "i haven't had a look."

Jake sighed and looked at Neytiri. she pushed him so he would walk into the pod and she followed after him with Neteyam right behind them.

when Neteyam saw Y/n, he immediately walked to her and crouched down next to her. he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her while she stared at her dad.

Jake and Neytiri lowered themselves down and inspected his body. Jake started snapping his fingers in front of Tonowaris face and then trailed them down to his ears.

"you have them?" he turned to Neytiri.

Neytiri nodded her head and rummaged through a small bag that was on her hip. she grabbed a small packet and handed it to Jake.

before Jake could do anything with the packed, Y/n grabbed his wrist. "what is that?" she asked him.

"calm down, it's smelling salt." he told her. "it's to wake people up."

Y/n let go of his wrist and brought it to her chest. Neteyam wrapped his arm tighter around her, for comfort.

Jake broke the packet and brought it up to Tonowaris nose. he waited for him to jolt awake, but nothing.
