"I see." He saw that as an opportunity. "Mind if I join you?"
She didn't mind at all. But her brother would, and a lot. She thought for a second before giving an answer. Analyzing the outcome of her choices.
"Yes, sure." She replied. "But we don't have any money though."
"Don't worry about that." He spoke, the corners of his lips barely lifting. "We could go to a restaurant I like; it isn't very far. Your brother can come too."
"Brother?" She looked at Takeru and then shook her hands in front of them. "No no, he is my nephew."
It was to expect, Takeru was in fact only 5 years younger than her.
"I'll come. Ushijima is treating us anyway." Takeru shrugged his shoulders while he snorted.
"What? You know him?" She inquired.
"Of course, he is the ace of Japan's national team under 19." He said blackly.
He is?? His friend did say that the day we meet. But she thought "I thought it was a joke..." She whispered to herself.
"Then let's go." He said, seriously as ever. He turned around and walked.
Takeru looked at her, trying his best to control his laugh. "Uncle is going to get mad."
"I'm way madder at him. Let's go"
***
It was an expensive restaurant, more expensive than she would have thought; and a little more than she could really afford. Maybe if she saved up for two weeks...
However, it didn't seem to be that way for people in the neighborhood. It was quite full, and by full she means a lot of girls whispering about the guy in front of her nephew and her.
"Ugh..." Her eyes rolled as she listened to Ushijima's name for the hundredth time.
But who wouldn't? He was wearing dark kakis with camouflage. It seemed like a bad combo; I really wouldn't flatter anybody. But on him...on the other side... He looked even better than he did on the court.
But he was still as fierce and straightforward as always, and that didn't seem to change.
"Don't be jealous," Takeru whispered. A teasing and sort of malleolus smile printed on his lips.
"Shut up." She replied in a very low voice. Her eyes widened to him, as a threat.
"Did you like it ___-Chan?" Ushijima asked pointing to the food.
"Um yeah, it's nice..." She nodded with a grin. "By the way, just ___ is fine" She embarrassingly laughed.
"Okay, ___..." He tested her name now. He nodded; he still liked how it sounded on her. "___?"
"Yes?" she asked, a mouthful of food.
"When are you free again?"
"Uhh..." Saturday afternoon, she thought. But just the thought itself made her cringe as soon as her brother's face appeared in her mind. "I don't know."
"Then I'd like to get your number," Ushijima spoke, offering his phone to her.
"We can exchange through infrared." She looked at him while she muttered, smiling at her own joke. She took out her flip phone; something Oikawa demanded as smartphones were too unnecessary and dangerous.
"I don't know how to do that." He sort of pouted.
She laughed and then took his phone. "Well, you own a smartphone, so no luck with infrared then." She spoke as she inputted her details. "There you go." She handed the phone carefully.
"Thank you." He smiled politely. Though she tried to hide it by looking away, her cheeks turned pink with a slight blush.
"Gross." Takeru groaned.

"____-CHAAAAAAAAN! I'm home~!!!" Oikawa sang happily.
"..." She didn't even glance at him. She was clenched on the sofa with her cozy blanket on her, her hair was wet and smelled like her floral fragrance, and she had just taken a very long bath.
He jumped onto the sofa, hugging her by her shoulders. She simply crossed her arms ignoring him and his happy aura. "Ah! I'm sorry, Okay? I'm really sorry!"
"We had a date with Ushijima," Takeru said, he just popped out of nowhere.
"WHAT!" He screamed in her ear.
"My revenge." She mumbled as she walked away. Somehow her phone just started to ring.
"OIKAWA ____! COME BACK HERE! WITH USHIJIMA?!!"
"HELLOOOOOOO! U-SHI-JI-MA SAN" She flirtatiously answered the call making sure her brother would listen.
"Hello." He greeted me formally.
"Is there something the matter?" she asked as she closed the door? Making sure it was locked, muffling Toruu's yelling voice.
"No, not really. I thought I'd test calling you." He said, explaining his motive.
"I see." She laughed, hopping herself to bed. "Then I guess it works, doesn't it?"
"Mm-hmm." He nodded. "Also, I forgot to tell you earlier."
"What is it?"
"I had fun earlier."
"Pfff," She cutely giggled. He was too serious to not laugh. "You're funny you know Ushijima-San?"
"I like you." He said, straightforwardly.
"Eh¿" She blinked, her face completely red.
"Thank you for earlier, I'm looking forward to spending an afternoon or evening meal with you again."
"E-ehhh," She sat on the bed hugging a pillow and hiding her face in it. She nervously swallowed before talking again "but I just graduated from middle school, and you're graduating soon from high school."
Ignoring the most important. She was Oikawa Toruu's sister.
"I'm fine with that."
"Ehhhh??!!" She held back a giggle.
"I did say, I like you."
And then not so long after Oikawa stole her phone, yelling obscene things at Ushijima.

Still hers!
Just added a few things.
I like chapters to be between 1000 and 1500 words. Some will be longer and some shorter yey.
If by any chance, I post an extremely short one, usually I post two in a row. Don't come for me...yet!
