Marvel's God of Wrath (MCU x Male Reader)

Inevitability is Nigh(Avengers: Endgame 2019)

"You know that it's a trap, right?" Thor asks them all.

"Yeah, I don't much care." Tony responds, not really seeming to mind if it's a trap because the four of them can definitely power through it together.

"Good, just as long as we're all in agreement." The God of Thunder says before his eyes flash a lightning blue as the clouds swirl and thunder can be heard all around. Just then, he holds both of his hands out as both Mjolnir and Stormbreaker come to his hands, having taken advantage of the fact that he is still worthy to wield his old hammer and retrieved it back from 2013 Asgard. Lightning strikes Thor to shed away his clothes for something more battle appropriate, just like his old armor from five years ago.

"It's time to slaughter a Titan." Y/N tells them as they soon get down from the wreckage of the compound to meet Thanos on the ground, spreading out to attack him on different sides. The four of them wait patiently, well, except for Y/N, who is pacing left and right from where he stands, unable to take anymore waiting and just start socking the Mad Titan in the face. Speaking of him, he continues to sit on a rock, contemplating about the future he foresaw after he had taken away half of the universe in 2018.

"You could not live with your own failure. And where did that bring you? Right back to me." Thanos taunts the four heroes, as he stares at them after glancing at the floor, he seems all too relaxed for this, or maybe it's because of what he had seen in the future. "I thought by eliminating half of life, the other half would thrive. But you've shown me that's impossible. Life clings to the past with bloody fingernails. As long as there are those who remember what was, there will be those unable to accept what can be. They will resist."

"Yeah, we're all kinds of stubborn." Stark retorts as he always does, causing Thanos to simply chuckle evilly.

"I'm thankful. Because now I know what I must do." He tells them, standing up from the rock and taking his helmet that is propped onto his double bladed sword-staff and puts it on. "I will shred this universe down to its last atom. And then, with the stones you've collected for me, create a new one, teeming with life that knows not what it has lost, but only what it has been given. A grateful universe." Just as he says that and takes his sword-staff, a metal fist connects to his jaw, sending him flying backwards, landing on his stomach a few feet away from them.

"Shut up. We don't care about your stupid fucking plan to destroy everything that's been created for millions of years. Why, because we'll make sure to knock you down over and over and over again until you can't get back up." Y/N says to the Mad Titan, standing by Steve, Tony, and Thor, as they all get into their battle positions.

"Ready, you three?" Steve asks, holding his shield up while Thanos slowly gets up, laughing at the punch he had received.

"Do you even have to ask, Cap?" Tony sarcastically asks before Thor and Y/N let out a battle cry as the four of them charge at Thanos, doing their best to overwhelm him with their unique skill sets. Captain America starts off the fight by throwing his shield at Thanos, who deflects it away from him before Wrath starts wailing on him with punches, slipping and weaving through sword slashes to whittle down his defenses while Iron Man takes to the skies and fires repulsor blasts to distract him when one of his teammates are in trouble. Thor backs up Wrath with Stormbreaker and Mjolnir taking over whenever the metal-armed man jumps away to evade an attack.

As the fight continues to rage on between the five of them, Captain America and Wrath work in tandem to distract Thanos for a moment for Iron Man to unleash something powerful. While the Mad Titan slashes, kicks, and punches at the two CQC specialists, Wrath gets swiped away with a slice, but he guards it with his arms just in the nick of time.

"Okay, Thor, hit me!" Iron Man says as the back of his suit reveals some sort of conductor, then the God of Thunder lets out a battle cry, calling upon all of the lightning he can muster and sends it right onto Iron Man's back, causing his suit to power up and fire six streams of energy, adding his hand repulsors right at Thanos, who blocks the continuous beams by activating a mechanism on his sword, causing the blades to spin rapidly like a helicopter. The force of the blasts push the Mad Titan back for a moment before he starts to make his way over to him, smacking him with a back hand and carrying him up with ease.
